Contract Position (LatAm)

Our Story

Over the past several years, Able has grown immeasurably. We’ve also grown in the type of company that we are:

Chapter 1: We were founded in 2013 as a product and engineering hub for a portfolio of early-stage start-ups. We grew up as an in-house/external hybrid shared services model. That allowed us to hone our skills and establish our operational and cultural foundation.

Chapter 2: In 2019 we began to expand our vision. We started growing beyond our initial partner base, building new relationships and delivering high-value work across different industries.

Chapter 3: In 2023, we entered the next phase of our growth. Our strategy centers around two audiences:

  • Venture Capital firms looking for trusted product and technology solutions that scale across portfolios.
  • Private Equity firms seeking to accelerate value creation across their portfolio companies.

Chapter 3a: We are now fully aligned to our mission and vision, fueled by the transformative power of applied AI. We believe AI will significantly accelerate the end-to-end software development lifecycle. By combining world-class talent and emerging practices, we help our partners dramatically increase their product organization’s capacity and impact.

About the Role

Able is seeking a remote full-time Program Manager in the role of Partner Lead to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be the cornerstone of our client partnerships: leading cross-functional software development programs and ensuring project excellence from strategy to execution.

You’ll manage complex partner relationships, own delivery, and bring a deep understanding of product and engineering workflows to the table. As a Partner Lead, you’re not just delivering projects — you’re helping our partners build better products and scale effectively.

You’ll work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders at all levels to ensure the success of each engagement.

Your Day to Day
  • Lead and manage partner relationships, aligning their business goals with Able’s delivery excellence
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for partner engagement, communication, and strategic alignment
  • Own the success of each program — delivery, profitability, team health, and long-term partnership value
  • Translate business priorities into actionable workstreams across engineering and product teams
  • Collaborate with engineers and product managers to shape and ship solutions that deliver real impact
  • Manage financial health, scope, schedules, risk, team utilization, and partner expectations
  • Anticipate and resolve issues, blockers, and delivery risks before they become critical
  • Contribute to the continuous evolution of our delivery practices and internal team growth
  • Use data-driven insights and key performance indicators to drive partner success
  • Act as a coach and support system for cross-functional team members to ensure alignment and unblock issues
  • Promote Agile, Lean, and Continuous Development best practices
What We’re Looking For
  • 10+ years of experience in program and project management at a digital agency or growth-stage technology company
  • A proven ability to manage complex client relationships and navigate organizational dynamics
  • Experience working on projects with 0-1 builds
  • Experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously within a single partner account
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and delivery methodologies (Agile, Lean)
  • Experience collaborating closely with engineering and product teams
  • Demonstrated success setting and maintaining standards for program management across workgroups
  • Experience mentoring or managing project managers on related workstreams
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and comfort operating in ambiguity
  • Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Asana, or similar project management software
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills in English

This is a six (6)-month contract position, with an anticipated start date in mid-July. The role is remote and open to candidates who are legally entitled to work within LatAm.

Able's Values
  • Put People First: We're caring, open, and encouraging.  We respect the richness that we each bring into our work.
  • Imagine Better: We are optimistic in our outlook, as well as creative and proactive to deliver the highest quality.
  • Expect Excellence: We commit to each other to always strive to be our best.
  • Simplify to Solve: We create better outcomes by reducing complexity.
  • We are all Builders: We are motivated and empowered to help build Able, and our partner's businesses.
  • One Able. Many Voices: Our unity is our strength.  Our diversity is our energy.

Let’s build together.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
