As a Productivity and Efficiency Engineer, you will be instrumental in transforming how our organization operates by identifying inefficiencies and building innovative solutions to enhance productivity. Balancing roles between investigator, systems thinker, and developer, you will create a range of outputs from lightweight automations to robust AI-powered tools, always aiming to make processes faster and reduce redundancies.

You are a results-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate operational bottlenecks into efficient and scalable solutions. You're proficient in programming, understand AI technologies, and are driven by continuous improvement and optimization. Your ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams positions you as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that solutions meet user needs and strategic goals.

What To Expect In This Position

    • Conduct structured process audits to document workflows, identify inefficiencies, and quantify manual effort costs.
    • Develop and prioritize a roadmap for process improvements and tool integrations based on impact assessments.
    • End-to-end design and implementation of solutions, including but not limited to AI agents, API integrations, and custom internal tools.
    • Seamlessly integrate existing tools like Slack, Jira, and Google Workspace to enhance system interoperability.
    • Define success metrics, monitor the adoption of new processes, and iteratively improve solutions based on feedback.
    • Contribute to and expand the organization’s process automation playbook for future initiatives.

What Sets You Apart

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in programming, with preferred experience in Python, and general comfort working with APIs and data pipelines.
  • Experience with MCP server builds, Claude skills, process mining tools, and a background in business analysis or operations.
  • Ability to analyze systems and processes holistically to identify comprehensive improvement opportunities.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate technical problems and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A proactive and independent problem solver who takes ownership of projects from conception through execution.
  • Hands-on experience with large language models, prompt engineering, and AI tool development.
