Job Description

  

Job Summary:

The Production Planner takes responsibility for daily decision making regarding releasing work orders and material to the floor while adhering and accounting for all material in Work in Process (WIP). The Production Planner is responsible for the consistent flow of raw materials into the facility to support current production requirements. The Planner will be coordinating production activities, balancing supply and demand, and ensuring the timely delivery of products while maintaining high standards of quality and cost control.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain daily/weekly production schedules to meet customer delivery dates and internal targets. 

  • Release and maintain production work orders in accordance with the build plan.

  • Collaborate with Procurement on material shortages and incoming supply to align with build plan

  •  Identify and reconcile physical and systematic inventory discrepancies through analysis and investigation of Cycle Counts & Work Order variances.

Job Qualifications:

  • High school degree / GED required, Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred.

  • 3+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional groups and supply chain to define and complete job requirements.

  • Understanding of how to read and navigate MRP/EPR systems (SAP preferred).

  • Good analytical, organizational, verbal and written communication skills.

Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.

Salary Range:

$50,600.00-$67,500.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, local regulations (such as minimum wage), education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
