Senior Manager, Supply Chain Strategy
The Senior Manager, Global Supply Chain Strategy will report directly to the Director of Supply Chain Center of Excellence, and will play a critical role as a senior leader to construct the groundwork for fundamental process change, execution and governance of key deliverables related to the organization’s dynamic supply strategy across all brands/categories. They will ensure effective operational execution of various key outputs that drive the end to end Supply Planning cycle month over month, leaning into the identification and implementation of processes improvements across workstreams. The incumbent will also be required to conceive, organize, and promote effective large-scale Supply Planning programs, reporting structures and metrics with attention on sophisticated executive level share-outs.
The ideal candidate, through a highly analytical skill set, not only understands the driving forces of supply planning strategies and its efficiencies but is also able to collect and analyze key and refined supply metrics that drive credibility and measure desired results. They must be able quickly pivot with change in direction, be comfortable to move across swim lanes to drive results, and frame up final business recommendations with optimal impact.
The CoE organization is a Supply Planning business arm designed to create efficiencies through strategic reporting and direction across the supply chain. The team’s mandate is to collaboratively advance SN’s processes, integrate SC technologies, increase supply agility, promote change management and ensure effective and measurable outcomes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up early phase holistic processes, cross functional requirements & reporting initiatives that support the global subcategory inventory strategies related to weeks of supply models, excess and obsolete inventory risk, fill rates, capacity utilization, and purchasing plans. Ensure continuity of progress to desired outcomes
- Identify supply risks to the demand plan through the development of best practice inventory & forecasting metrics and scorecards. Lead cross functional review meetings to assess positioning and establish recommendations for future milestones
- Lead S&OP process and reporting contributions through development of inputs, governance of outputs, and follow through on execution. Represent team in monthly reviews and lead discussions on current state and next steps
- Support and design the delivery of strategic Supply Chain reporting with evaluation on improvement opportunities - build out new publication requirements & establish content standards focusing on providing key insights to executive management
- Work proactively with team and cross functional stakeholders to identify opportunities that will create efficiencies across the supply chain and drive end to end assignments from gathering requirements to implementation
- Enforce Supply Planning standards of care, controls, closed-loop Feedback
- Build out, govern and maintain Standard Operating Procedures

- Experience in project management with the ability to coordinate multiple projects and teams
- Enthusiastic, optimistic, and self-motivated
- MS office proficiency with advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint
Education and Experience:
- University degree in a business-related field
- Minimum 7-10 experience in a Supply Planning function
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a managerial role leading a team
- Program management experience a definite asset
