Product Manager
Boston-based company Piaggio Fast Forward Inc. (PFF) was founded in 2015 by the Piaggio Group (the Italian manufacturer that created the iconic Vespa scooter). Piaggio Fast Forward is looking for a Product Manager with a history of delivering stellar requirements with minimal supervision, a deep understanding of the automotive and motorcycle industry, and operational experience with new product development. You’ll be part of a product management team that works directly with all facets of the business and multiple external partners in building radar solutions. Responsibilities
- Write market requirements and general specifications for a global OEM product
- Work with external partners to develop market-ready solutions
- Work with internal program manager, and hardware and software engineers to ensure successful completion of market requirements
- Refine and drive the future of radar technology solutions
- Research market opportunities for your product
- Update product roadmap based on project progress
- Frequently communicate project status to managers
Requirements
- 3+ years Product Management experience writing requirements for B2B products
- Experience ushering a product from concept to market with deep understanding of the OEM product lifecycle
- 5+ years experience working in the automotive/motorcycle industry with specific knowledge of safety systems
- Experience meeting ISO standards for products
Preferred Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Confluence and Jira or similar software
- Proactive team player, with exceptional time and people management skills
- Active listener with positive attitude towards problem solving
