Cost Analysis Manager
Reporting into the Commercial Supply Chain team, this role acts as a liaison between the China Supply Chain team and the US Engineering and Product Development teams to provide CBOMs and Cost Estimates for new and existing products taking into account product design, product requirements and product specifications and ensuring clarity of costs through the product development life cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- As a key member of the supply chain team, present cost analysis and cost breakdowns for new and existing Shark and Ninja products to product development and engineering teams.
- Working closely with the China supply chain team, provide regular and timely cost updates to various cross-functional stakeholders on current product costs, periodic variance in product costs, cost impact due to ongoing design changes and/or commodity prices etc.
- Support New Product Development – CBOM, cost analysis, tracking cost variance including target costs vs actual costs, ROI etc.
- Detailed cost analysis of components and internally designed parts to outline costs, key cost drivers as well as design changes to optimize costs including consideration of alternate materials or designs; Support DFM and DFC activities
- Support competitor product cost analysis activities by providing timely cost estimates for various competitor products
- Support development of costing processes, methodologies and tools

- Ability to provide innovative ideas to optimize supply chain and create value
- Experience working in global and multi-cultural teams
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Business or Engineering; Master’s or Advanced Degree (MBA or M.S) preferred.
- Strong understanding of various commodities like plastics, metals, electronics and electro mechanicals; manufacturing operations; direct and indirect souring
- Proven work experience in product costing, supply chain or manufacturing/engineering – with 4 or more years of experience.
- Ability to gather relevant information systematically; grasp complexities and connect the dots; seek input from others
- Ability to manage multiple projects and relationships while remaining focused on the key deliverable
- Strong oral and written communication skills is a must, ability to communicate in Mandarin is a bonus.
