Position Overview
We're looking for a skilled Product Security Engineer to be at the forefront of engineering features directly that security teams want directly into our product. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, software engineering, and experience with cloud environments. You'll play a crucial role in shaping the security architecture of our Data+AI Security platform.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of security and automation features for our Data+AI Security platform
- Collaborate closely within the rest of the engineering organization (security, product and development teams) to integrate security throughout the software development lifecycle
- Design and implement features in our product to help organizations protect against various threats, including those related to AI and machine learning
- Stay current with emerging security threats, trends, and best practices in product security
- Contribute to the development of security-related product requirements and specifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in engineering with a focus on product security
- Strong software development skills, particularly in languages used in cloud-native applications
- In-depth knowledge of secure software development practices and common security vulnerabilities
- Experience with cloud security principles and implementing security in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and their impact on product design
- Experience with developing and designing automation to remediate cloud issues is hugely favourable.
- Experience with security in AI/ML systems is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to balance security requirements with product functionality and user experience
