As a Strategic Sales - Product Sales Associate within our Merchant Services team, you will serve as a critical voice of the small business customer, working alongside Sales, Product and Commercialization teams to validate new payment solutions prior to market launch. You will recruit and support pilot participants, capture merchant feedback, identify process improvements, and help ensure successful launches of new products and features.

Job responsibilities:

  • Leverage customer-facing sales skills for merchant recruitment and outreach strategies for new product and feature pilots; Guide merchants through onboarding, setup, testing, and adoption of pilot solutions via direct customer outreach.
  • Document pilot findings, customer quotes, enhancement requests, and usability observations in designated systems and reporting tools; Monitor pilot performance and merchant engagement while identifying opportunities to improve participation and adoption.
  • Own creation and delivery of Sales enablement tools including development of pilot training materials, FAQs, customer communications and reporting needs.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and initiatives while maintaining strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
  • Manage Sales pipelines by executing lead nurturing tasks and conducting follow-up outreach on qualifying opportunities to drive engagement, new product adoption, and revenue growth.
  • Partner and collaborate with key internal stakeholders including Product, Commercialization, Technology, Analytics, and Operations teams to troubleshoot issues and escalate customer concerns.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree and/or 2 years of experience in customer-facing sales, relationship management, customer success, project management, banking, or related fields
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage customers and business partners at all organizational levels
  • Proven ability to build relationships with clients and cross-functional stakeholders; Experience gathering, synthesizing, and presenting feedback and insights to various audiences
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and AI-enabled productivity tools
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new products, technologies, and business priorities

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Knowledge of merchant acquiring, payment acceptance, small business banking, point-of-sale solutions, or related financial services products
