To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $222,300 - $290,225
Zone B: $200,700 - $262,025
Zone C: $185,400 - $242,050
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.

In this role you will:
- Foster win-win partnerships between Atlassian and third parties to drive deeper engagement and growth across our product ecosystem.
- Develop strategic alliances in AI, including partnerships around multi-agent architectures, MCP servers, orchestration layers, and model providers.
- Maintain direct and active relationships with partners, including proactively resolving business and technical issues and serving as an internal advocate.
- Define partner requirements, produce qualitative and quantitative analysis of performance, aggregate feedback, and explore new strategic opportunities to inform our product roadmap.
- Identify opportunities for Atlassian to integrate with third party AI products that align with our mission of unleashing the potential of every team.
- Establish senior-level relationships internally and externally, with the ability to influence direction in product, platform, and GTM strategies.
- Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, especially product, marketing, and engineering, to deliver success for partners, Atlassian, and our customers.
- Prioritize your work, balancing longer-term strategy with immediate execution.
On your first day, we'll expect you to:
- Have 7+ years of relevant work experience in product, partnerships, or technical roles in a software or IT company.
- Experience working with partners across the tech industry, including hyperscalers, core systems of record and AI-first Startups.
- Have exceptional relationship-building and communication skills at all levels, from C-level executives to technical practitioners.
- Ability to drive deals forward & negotiate core terms for Atlassian.
- Experience with complex commercial agreements.
- Be self-motivated and excited to roll up your sleeves to GSD.
- Have strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Bring creative solutions to challenging problems.
- Be comfortable with change and ambiguity in fast-evolving domains such as AI.
- Willingness and ability to travel (roughly twice a quarter).
- Openness to a transparent communication culture that values contributions and feedback from other individuals and teams.
It's great, but not required, if you have:
- Proven combination of technical, product, and business expertise.
- Product management or solution engineering experience.
- Familiarity with core AI integration frameworks including MCP, A2A and others.
- Understanding of multi-agent systems, API marketplaces, or enterprise adoption patterns for generative AI.
- Strong expertise in modern software development tools and ecosystems
