WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for maximizing product value across multiple GridUnity solutions. Reporting to the Director of Product Management, you will set and communicate the vision for your solution areas, ensure alignment with customer needs, and work closely with engineering teams to deliver iterative, high-impact improvements through Agile development.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Represent the “Voice of the Customer” and ensure solution innovation within one or more Agile teams
Translate product roadmaps into clear solutions, features, and deliverables
Define engineering-ready requirements and acceptance criteria, and approve deliverables for release
Lead ongoing refinement and prioritization of product and team backlogs
Support development and maintenance of product vision and roadmap in alignment with company strategy
Partner with customers to validate concepts and develop market-leading solutions
Define and track key product performance metrics to guide data-driven decisions
Provide subject matter expertise and support to sales (e.g., RFPs, demos, training, and documentation)
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
5+ years in B2B enterprise software organizations, including 2+ years in a Product Owner role
Energy/utility industry experience and knowledge
Strong understanding of Agile software development methodology
Skilled communicator, comfortable shifting between technical and business discussions
Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Adaptability to changing internal and external priorities
WHAT WILL SET YOU APART
Experience in a utility, ISO/RTO, or developer with the interconnection or utility-scale project development process
Experience with Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD)
Undergraduate degree in a STEM field (or equivalent experience)
