Who We Are

Pattern Data is an AI-powered platform purpose-built for the unique complexities of mass tort litigation, settlement analytics, and claims processing. We automate critical processes like case analysis, documentation, and valuation, leading to faster, more accurate outcomes that dynamically adapt to evolving settlement criteria. Our platform replaces manual inefficiencies with data-driven decision-making, empowering firms to scale operations, reduce costs, and secure stronger results in higher-volume litigations.

At Pattern, our team is built on a foundation of collaborative ownership, visionary problem-solving, customer-centric solutions, and authenticity. We’re looking for a Product Owner to join our growing team.

You’ll be at the intersection of customer feedback, business goals, and technical execution—translating ideas into high-impact features that deliver real value. If you thrive in fast-paced, agile environments and enjoy working cross-functionally to build great software, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do
  • Translate product strategy and customer insights into clear, actionable product requirements and prototypes
  • Collaborate closely with engineering to ensure timely, resource-efficient delivery
  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap that balances long-term strategy with short-term deliverables
  • Own and manage the product backlog—organizing, refining, and prioritizing to maximize value
  • Monitor product development from concept through launch, ensuring quality and alignment with goals
  • Regularly communicate updates to stakeholders and ensure feedback loops are in place
  • Organize and participate in the planning, review and delivery of releases with cross-functional teams
  • Champion an iterative, agile-inspired approach—focused on shipping value early and often
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Product Management, or related field (or equivalent practical experience or certifications)
  • 5+ years of experience working within a software product team in a fast-paced tech environment
  • Proven experience with workflow and product management tools like Jira, ClickUp, Asana, or Trello
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to assess business value and prioritize features accordingly
  • Comfortable navigating and resolving competing priorities from multiple stakeholders
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across functions and teams

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
