The Role

Your Impact

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Owner to drive the evolution of our CRM and Revenue Operations capabilities. In this role, you will independently lead discovery, requirement definition, and delivery of enhancements that improve the full customer lifecycle—from Lead Generation through Renewal.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives as a hands-on expert, can influence across teams without direct management responsibility, and excels at translating business needs into scalable CRM solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Ownership & Roadmap Execution

  • Own and maintain the CRM/RevOps product backlog with minimal guidance.
  • Translate strategic direction into actionable roadmap items and user stories.
  • Partner cross-functionally to evaluate requests, determine business value, and sequence work for delivery.
  • Lead product discovery sessions and perform independent analysis to shape requirements.

CRM Enhancements & Delivery

  • Write detailed user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and feature documentation.
  • Serve as the primary business liaison to engineering, data, and integration teams.
  • Drive end-to-end delivery for features, including refinement, sprint participation, UAT, release planning, and post-launch validation.
  • Act as a hands-on subject matter expert (SME) for CRM processes, configuration constraints, and data models.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, RevOps, and Operations to gather input and align on priorities.
  • Communicate product decisions, timelines, and impacts clearly across audiences.
  • Influence outcomes through expertise and relationship building—not through formal authority.
  • Insights, Quality & Operational Excellence
  • Analyze pain points, process inefficiencies, and user behavior to inform improvements.
  • Ensure data quality, system integrity, and scalable workflows across CRM capabilities.
  • Drive continuous iteration by collecting feedback, usage metrics, and adoption insights.

What You'll Need

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in CRM, SaaS, or RevOps environments.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business Management, Business Development, Information Technology, Marketing technology or similar.
  • Hands-on CRM experience and RevOps platforms (Salesforce, Dynamics, HubSpot, Gainsight, Outreach, CPQ, CLM, MAP/automation tools, Customer intelligence, etc.), with strong understanding of configuration impacts and cross-functional workflows.
  • Deep knowledge of Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success processes.
  • Strong ability to author user stories, define acceptance criteria, and partner with Agile delivery teams.
  • Analytical mindset with experience interpreting data to inform product decisions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder influence skills across senior-level audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously and manage multiple workstreams.

Additional Consideration will be given with the following qualifications:

  • Familiarity with reporting/data tools (Power BI, Snowflake, SQL).
  • Industry certifications (CSPO, PSPO, Salesforce Admin) are a plus.
  • Experience in high-growth, transformation, or complex enterprise environments.

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
