Job Introduction:
The Cyber Security Operations Center (CSOC) team within the Global Cybersecurity organization is looking to hire a Product Owner II, Cybersecurity candidate. The person will be using operational and agile methods to deliver key technology and services in direct alignment with business strategies.
Member of the Agile team, representing the voice of the customer and the organization through the delivery of business value. Works closely with stakeholders (business and technology), including LOB leadership, to define and prioritize features and stories, ensuring alignment with customer needs and organizational goals. Understands customers` problems in detail and ensures the problems are clearly defined, prioritized and the squad/team is focused on the most valuable work. The Product Owner is the team member always communicating with stakeholders to ensure an aligned understanding of how the squad/team can provide the highest value to the customer through the lens of the portfolio. Collaborates with squads/teams, technologies and architects across portfolios to develop a deep understanding of the technologies and systems they support.
The Product Owner II will be a member of the CSOC leadership team whose primary focus will be to understand the mission of the Cyber Security Operations Center and execute the vision and direction by managing workflow and delivering valuable outcomes. The Product Owner II, with guidance, works closely with all stakeholders to maximize the value of development through definition and prioritization of features and stories to ensure alignment with customer and organizational goals. Responsible for researching and defining external constraints on the squad/team (e.g. regulatory and compliance approvals). May perform Product Owner tasks such as reviewing and writing user stories of lower risk and complexity. Participates in defining and prioritizing the product backlog.

About the job:
- With guidance from CSOC Product Owner, supports the communication of and alignment to the CSOC Mission & Vision.
- Supports building the product roadmap at squad/team level based on IT/Security Program objectives and goals.
- Supports the use of Metrics and KPIs to drive decisions.
- Supports creating and maintaining backlogs (including prioritization, acceptance criteria, execution, and delivery).
- Contributes to squad/team quarterly planning and sets expectations for delivery of new capabilities, features, and functionalities.
- Participates in squad/team demos, retrospectives, and all other ceremonies.
- With guidance, works daily with the Agile working group, clarifying business requirements, removing roadblocks, constantly communicating, and supporting alignment around product strategy.
- With the guidance from the CSOC Product Owner, monitors and maintains workflow supporting long-term viability and efficiency.
- May analyze feasibility, cost of delay ramifications, economies, and other aspects of planned or potential changes to the product.
- Assists CSOC Product Owner with high level work efforts including but not limited to compliance and audit evidence collection and coordination.
- Bachelors` degree in relevant field (business, computer science, etc.). Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of Product Owner experience supporting Cybersecurity team.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and IT project management.
- Knowledge of Cyber Security Operations Centers - both operations and technologies.
- Knowledge of Security Information & Event Management (SIEM) use case development.
- Knowledge of Security Orchestration Automation and Response (SOAR) technology.
- Knowledge of process improvement, and organizational change management.
- Knowledge of key business drivers of cybersecurity - governance, risk, compliance, regulatory obligations, and data privacy legislations.
- Displays strong communication, organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and team building skills.
- Advanced presentation, influencing, and relationship management skills.
- Experience managing a suite of vendor products and applications.
- Able to depict complex ideas, issues, and designs to varied audiences; educate SBU/department(s) on business vision and plan and the impact of change.
- Able to make difficult and quick decisions daily.
- Able to influence a diverse group of stakeholders through strong leadership skills.
- Strong problem solver with ability to lead the team to push the solution and progress.
- Strong experimental mindset to drive innovation amidst uncertainty.
