Working closely with design, engineering, QA, and business stakeholders, you will translate discovery insights into actionable user stories and ensure timely, high-quality implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Discovery & Planning

  • Lead the Discovery Phase to understand the mobile app and the Target website ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to identify Target localization, compliance, and bilingual requirements.
  • Refine user personas, journeys, and market alignment for the Target audience.
  • Define and document delta user stories, acceptance criteria, and implementation estimates based on standards and priorities.
  • Support creation of the execution roadmap, ensuring a clear and measurable delivery plan.

Implementation Ownership

  • Drive the Implementation Phase following Discovery sign-off, ensuring smooth execution of the approved roadmap.
  • Prioritize and manage the product backlog, balancing technical dependencies, market needs, and business impact.
  • Partner with engineering teams to localize the iOS and Android apps for the Target market (language, currency, address).
  • Ensure successful rollout of bilingual (English/French) support and localized payment, loyalty, and checkout flows.
  • Collaborate with backend, XAPI/BFF, and CMS teams to ensure seamless integration with global infrastructure.
  • Oversee validation, automation updates, and app store readiness for Target release.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Serve as the primary liaison between business teams, design, and development.
  • Communicate product vision, roadmap updates, and delivery progress to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups, ensuring cross-functional alignment.
  • Partner with QA, DevOps, and design teams to deliver a quality-first, user-centric mobile experience.

Governance & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure all features meet compliance, localization, and accessibility standards.
  • Monitor post-launch performance and gather feedback for continuous product enhancement.
  • Leverage GenAI and analytics insights to optimize roadmap decisions and improve user engagement.
  • Maintain documentation for all product features, releases, and dependencies.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of product management or product owner experience, preferably in retail, e-commerce, or mobile app development.
  • Proven experience managing localization projects and bilingual product launches (English/French preferred).
  • Strong understanding of mobile application lifecycles, API integrations, and backend system dependencies.
  • Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies, with a track record of delivering enterprise-scale projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and prioritization skills.
  • Data-driven decision-making mindset with proficiency in product analytics tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with server-driven UI (SDUI) or CMS-driven mobile experiences.
  • Familiarity with loyalty platforms, payment systems, and e-commerce workflows.
  • Exposure to GenAI-assisted product development or automation-driven optimization.
  • Understanding of App Store release processes and post-launch support management.
  • Certification in Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent Agile product management credential.
