Job Summary
insightsoftware is seeking a Product Owner to join the BI reporting capabilities powered by Logi Symphony within the Equity product organization. This role is responsible for assisting with the product strategy, requirements, and delivery of self-service reporting, dashboards, and data visualization features within Certent Equity Management. You will serve as the connective tissue between the Equity product organization and the Logi platform — ensuring that embedded analytics capabilities meet the needs of equity plan administrators, HR teams, finance stakeholders, and participants. This is a hands-on role requiring both technical familiarity with embedded analytics platforms and a strong understanding of equity data and reporting use cases.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap
Assist with the roadmap for embedded analytics and self-service reporting capabilities within Certent Equity Management, leveraging the Logi Symphony platform
Partner with the Product Manager to define feature priorities based on customer demand, competitive positioning, platform capabilities, and technical dependencies
Own the backlog, including sprint prioritization and engineering ceremonies
Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and the Logi platform team to identify capability gaps and deliver best-in-class analytics experiences
Requirements Definition & Documentation
Write comprehensive PRDs with detailed functional specifications, data model requirements, user workflows, visualization standards, and acceptance criteria
Define report and dashboard templates, data set configurations, and user permission models appropriate for equity data
Conduct technical review sessions with engineering and the Logi platform team to validate requirements and surface integration risks
Ensure reporting capabilities meet data privacy, security, and access control requirements for sensitive equity and compensation data
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as the primary liaison between the Equity product team and the Logi Symphony platform team at insightsoftware
Partner with Financial Reporting and Admin Reporting Product Owners to ensure data availability, consistency, and alignment across reporting surfaces
Work with Product Marketing on analytics feature positioning and release communications
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
Lead discovery sessions with equity administrators, HR, and finance stakeholders to identify analytics and reporting requirements
Conduct demos and training on self-service reporting and dashboard capabilities for customers and internal teams
Required Qualifications
Experience
1+ years in product management or product owner roles, preferably in B2B SaaS environments
2+ years experience working with embedded analytics, business intelligence, or data visualization platforms
Proven track record of delivering reporting or analytics product features from concept to launch
Strong attention to detail, organization, and prioritization skills
Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities across both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Technical & Domain Knowledge
Familiarity with embedded analytics or BI platforms (Logi Symphony, Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
Understanding of data modeling, report building, and dashboard design for enterprise SaaS applications
Working knowledge of equity compensation concepts and data, including plan structures, participant transactions, and award types
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product management frameworks
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required
Preferred Qualifications
CEP (Certified Equity Professional) certification is a plus
Hands-on experience configuring or administering Logi Symphony or a comparable embedded analytics platform
Experience with equity administration platforms, such as Certent Equity Management
Familiarity with data access and governance requirements in financial services or HR technology
The salary range in United States of America for this position is 99,000.00 to 124,000.00 USD Annual.
Your specific offer within this range will be determined by your skills, experience, and qualifications. For non-sales roles, you may be eligible for a bonus. For sales roles, this range includes a commission target.
