We also strive to be experts in integrating technology to automate and streamline reporting processes, enhancing efficiency and reducing risk in production cycles, while also improving accessibility and consistency to content and information.

The Product Marketing team collaborates across the firm on strategic initiatives, including with members of Business Development & Relationship Management, Investment Analytics, Portfolio Management, Performance, Marketing Services, and Compliance. Members of this team will benefit from a sound understanding of institutional investor expectations and product positioning as well as portfolio construction, investment strategies and quantitative investment management concepts.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced product marketing or marketing professional to contribute to the responsibilities of the Product Marketing mandate, with a particular focus in driving its market intelligence function. This individual will be responsible for analyzing and synthesizing market and competitor data to identify key trends, product innovations, and client preferences within the asset management industry, ultimately influencing the direction of the firm’s marketing strategies. Critical duties will also include maintaining and improving databases and tools for market analysis, and producing SEC-compliant market-level and product-level reporting.

In addition, and as part of a technology-driven team, this position will also meaningfully contribute to the integration and expansion of databases and technology platforms to further refine, automate, and expedite production and dissemination of reporting solutions to both internal and external audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Support standard automated reporting cycles of product- and market-level reporting, ensuring production cycles are completed timely and without issue. Monitor and proactively update automated content and workflows to ensure accuracy and relevance
  • Apply an understanding of the SEC-regulated marketing environment, its impact on marketing materials, including marketing disclosures to maintain fully compliant materials
  • Collect, analyze, and synthesize market data to identify trends in the asset management industry, including regulatory changes, product innovation, distribution strategies, and client preferences to support internal teams in marketing our investment products and solutions consistently and effectively
  • Conduct comprehensive competitor analysis and market intelligence reporting, including evaluations of competitor fund performance, strategies, fees, and product launches, to inform senior leadership, investment teams, and business units
  • Maintain, enhance, and evolve databases/tools for market and competitor intelligence, leveraging industry research platforms such as eVestment
  • Contribute to the oversight, integration, and expansion of various technological platform solutions designed to support the creation, organization and dissemination of marketing content, including but not limited to: Seismic, Salesforce, eVestment, and other proprietary systems

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance or Marketing preferred; MBA or CFA a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry preferably with a focus in a market intelligence, product marketing and reporting or related operational role
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational, analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to deliver clear, compelling, and actionable reports and presentations to stakeholders at all levels within the organization
  • Self-starter who is motivated to work independently and at ease in navigating cross-departmental partnerships
  • Demonstrated ability to gather and interpret complex qualitative and quantitative data, distilling it into product and market narratives that engage and inform diverse audiences
  • Advanced knowledge of business intelligence and data visualization technologies (Salesforce, PowerBI, Tableau etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge of market research and intelligence tools (e.g., eVestment, FinSearch, Bloomberg, Morningstar)

The base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $255,000 per year.

The determination of a successful candidate’s base salary placement within the listed range will vary based on the candidate’s relevant experience and qualifications (which may also include relevant certifications, credentials and other education), the job responsibilities and scope, the commensurate resulting level of the position and other relevant factors. The listed range is also an estimate, and additional information regarding base salary and other elements of total compensation offered by Arrowstreet Capital to successful applicants will be communicated during the recruitment process.
