Job Description:

About the Role

Darktrace is seeking a highly motivated Product Marketing Specialist to join our Platform Product Marketing team and help bring the value of our cybersecurity platform to life.

Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, you will contribute to high-impact programs that build market awareness, accelerate product adoption, enable our global sales organization, and support revenue growth. You will help translate sophisticated technology and market insights into clear, compelling stories for customers, prospects, sellers, and other key audiences.

Working across Product Management, Sales, Demand Generation, Field Marketing, Customer Success, and Corporate Marketing, you will play an important role in executing product launches and go-to-market initiatives across Darktrace’s portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and analytical marketer who wants to deepen their product marketing expertise, take ownership of meaningful projects, and help shape how a pioneering AI cybersecurity company goes to market.

In This Role, You Will
  • Bring products and solutions to market by supporting product launches, go-to-market plans, customer announcements, release communications, campaigns, webinars, events, analyst engagements, and industry conferences.
  • Create compelling product stories and content across solution briefs, presentations, pitch decks, sales collateral, blogs, case studies, newsletters, FAQs, and other customer-facing and internal materials.
  • Help shape positioning and messaging by translating product capabilities, customer needs, and market trends into clear value propositions and messaging frameworks.
  • Equip Sales to win by developing and maintaining sales plays, battlecards, competitive intelligence, pitch materials, and other enablement resources that support effective customer conversations.
  • Turn market intelligence into action by researching competitors, customers, emerging technologies, and cybersecurity trends and sharing insights that strengthen positioning, campaigns, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Partner across the business to capture product and roadmap updates, customer feedback, and market requirements while coordinating deliverables across Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.
  • Measure and improve our impact by monitoring program and campaign performance, identifying opportunities to optimize results, and helping evolve our product marketing processes as the business grows.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least two years of experience in product marketing, solutions marketing, product management, sales enablement, or a related marketing role, preferably within a technology or SaaS organization.
  • Experience developing clear, engaging content for customer-facing or internal audiences, such as messaging, presentations, sales tools, or marketing collateral.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, research, and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations and compelling narratives.
  • Excellent organizational and project-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
  • A collaborative, proactive approach and demonstrated ability to build productive relationships across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and common marketing and collaboration tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in cybersecurity, AI, cloud, SaaS, enterprise software, or another technical B2B market.
  • Exposure to product launches, go-to-market planning, competitive intelligence, market research, or sales enablement programs.
  • Experience creating content for technical products or audiences and simplifying complex concepts without losing their meaning.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, security operations, threat landscapes, analyst research, or market-assessment methodologies.
What Success Looks Like
  • You consistently deliver high-quality content and enablement resources that strengthen customer engagement and support pipeline and revenue goals.
  • You help launches and go-to-market programs move from plan to execution smoothly, bringing structure, collaboration, and attention to detail to every initiative.
  • You become a trusted partner to Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success by providing responsive support and valuable market and customer insight.
  • You build meaningful expertise in Darktrace’s technology and the cybersecurity landscape, using that knowledge to improve our messaging, market presence, and thought leadership.
  • You identify opportunities to make programs and processes more effective, and increasingly take ownership of high-impact product marketing initiatives.
