About the RoleThe Product Marketing Manager owns the strategy and execution for driving patient activation, engagement, and product update campaigns across the 9amHealth experience.
This role is responsible for identifying friction points in the enrollment and care journey, translating user insights into product and marketing improvements, and partnering cross-functionally to optimize conversion, retention, and revenue.
The role leverages data, automation, and emerging AI tools to improve personalization, targeting, and performance across the patient journey.
This leader serves as the voice of the user within the organization, ensuring that product experiences, messaging, and workflows are designed to maximize participation, outcomes, and sustainable growth.
Funnel & Enrollment OptimizationOwn end-to-end engagement from first touch through active care and retention.
Analyze conversion, drop-off, and activation metrics across web, app, and clinical workflows.
Identify friction points and abandonment drivers using behavioral data and AI-supported analytics.
Develop hypotheses and testing plans to improve enrollment and activation.
Partner with Product, Marketing, and Clinical teams to implement funnel and messaging optimizations.
Use automation and predictive insights to improve targeting and outreach timing.
Drive adoption of core features, programs, and care pathways.
Develop engagement strategies that encourage consistent platform usage.
Partner with Product to improve UX, onboarding, and in-product guidance.
Support personalization through data and AI-enabled segmentation.
Partner with Marketing to develop lifecycle touchpoints (email, SMS, in-app, provider prompts).
Monitor feature usage and patient behavior to inform roadmap priorities.
Optimize communication pathways to increase billable participation.
Partner with Finance and Data Operations to align engagement initiatives with billing models.
Identify opportunities to increase utilization through data-driven targeting.
Measure impact of engagement initiatives on revenue performance.
Support forecasting and prioritization using advanced analytics tools.
Conduct user research, surveys, and behavioral analysis.
Partner with Clinical and Client Success to gather frontline insights.
Translate insights into actionable product and marketing recommendations.
Develop patient personas and journey maps.
Lead go-to-market planning for new programs and features.
Work with Marketing and Product on positioning and enablement materials.
Test and optimize messaging using data and experimentation tools.
Ensure new offerings are clearly communicated and easy to adopt.
5–8+ years in product marketing, growth, lifecycle, or analytics roles
Experience optimizing digital funnels in SaaS, health tech, or consumer platforms
Strong analytical and experimentation background
Comfort working with data platforms, automation tools, and emerging AI solutions
Experience partnering with Product and Engineering teams
Familiarity with healthcare or wellness brands
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline
Comfortable in fast-paced, evolving environments
Target compensation: approximately $150,000 base salary.
