WHY VEIR?

VEIR is enabling a new generation of compact, efficient, high-power, and long-distance power delivery solutions, solving bottlenecks that exist across the entire electricity value chain, from generation through to data center server racks. VEIR's low voltage superconducting solutions are enabling new power delivery architectures in the world’s largest data centers and our higher voltage solutions are poised to revolutionize the development of electricity transmission and distribution linesVEIR is preparing for rapid growth as we seek to solve critical challenges facing data center developers, electricity generation developers, and utilities around the world.

The Role

VEIR is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to own the product marketing function end-to-end as we bring our superconducting power delivery systems to market. This is a new role on the Product team, reporting to the Director of Product, and will serve as the single point of contact between the Product team and VEIR's commercial corporate marketing function.

The Product team is responsible for overseeing the requirements, development, and lifecycle of VEIR's superconducting products. Through close collaboration with our commercial and engineering groups, the Product team ensures that the products developed meet customers' needs and align with VEIR's business goals. The Product Marketing Manager will play a critical role in translating VEIR's technical product capabilities into compelling market-facing content — enabling commercial engagement, supporting fundraising, and building the brand presence needed to win in a fast-moving and technically demanding market.

In the first 3 months you'll

  • Develop a deep working knowledge of VEIR's SL and ST Series superconducting systems, their target applications, and the competitive landscape.
  • Audit existing product marketing collateral — datasheets, white papers, application notes, slide decks — and identify gaps relative to the Preliminary Design phase requirements.
  • Establish a working relationship with the commercial corporate marketing team, to serve as the subject matter expert for product-related inputs for website content and active social media content.
  • Develop a prioritized marketing deliverable plan with timelines and ownership aligned to VEIR’s stage-gate process milestones.

In the first 6 months you'll

  • Own and deliver the SL Series launch marketing collateral set: application notes, reference designs, technical white papers, data sheets, guide specifications, and support brochures.
  • Develop and execute the SL Series launch strategy in collaboration with the Principal PM and the Commercial team.
  • Draft and iterate product marketing plans, including KPIs and deliverable timelines.
  • Work with commercial corporate marketing to define product marketing campaign deliverables and timelines
  • Build and maintain a competitive intelligence library covering VEIR's primary competitive alternatives across data center and transmission applications.
  • Support fundraising efforts by developing product narrative content and technical marketing materials for investor audiences.

By the end of the first year you will have

  • Own the full VEIR stage-gate process product marketing deliverable set across both SL and ST Series programs, including product detail pages (PDPs), conference papers and presentations, product-related trade show materials, and product demos.
  • Establish a repeatable product marketing process that scales with VEIR's growing product portfolio and commercial pipeline.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for product-related social media content calendar and website update cycle in close partnership with corporate marketing.
  • Develop and maintain internal sales enablement materials and product training resources for the Commercial team.
  • Serve as the primary product team resource for all conference submissions, industry events, and external thought leadership content.

To be successful in this role

  • You'll bring 5+ years of experience in product marketing, technical marketing, or a closely related function — preferably in hardware, energy technology, or deep tech.
  • You'll have demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling content for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • You'll have experience developing and executing go-to-market plans, product launch strategies, and marketing campaigns for hardware or infrastructure products.
  • You'll be comfortable operating in an environment where the product is still in active development — you can build marketing foundations in parallel with engineering execution rather than waiting for a finished product.
  • You'll bring strong written communication skills and be capable of independently producing high-quality technical marketing content: white papers, application notes, datasheets, and customer presentations.
  • You are highly organized and able to manage a broad portfolio of concurrent deliverables across multiple internal stakeholders.
  • You are an outstanding communicator (written and verbal) who can work effectively across engineering, product, and commercial corporate marketing teams.
  • You are a motivated self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and energized by the challenge of building a function from scratch.
  • You are driven by results — you measure success in market impact and pipeline contribution, not content volume.
  • You are committed to buying into VEIR's mission and goals and adopting our core values.

Experience in energy infrastructure, data center power delivery, or transmission and distribution is a plus. Familiarity with the technical language of power systems is valued but not required.

VEIR is committed to equal pay for equal work in its compensation practices. The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $130,000 - $150,000 per year + equity + benefits. A candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location.
