As a Product Marketing Manager at Granicus, you will be responsible for creating product positioning and developing marketing programs to enhance the growth of a specific product line. This role combines technical product knowledge with market insights to effectively communicate product differentiators and drive business success. You will collaborate closely with various teams including product management, sales, and customer success to ensure the product line meets market needs and achieves growth objectives.

What your impact will look like:

  • Work closely with customers, sales, and product teams to create product line sales strategy and deliverables to ensure product line success and growth.
  • Maintain understanding of product line strengths and weaknesses to develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products in the market.
  • Analyze data and conduct interviews to better understand how customers use our solutions.
  • Perform competitive research to profile our key competitors.
  • Conduct interviews to assist in defining buyer personas.
  • Develop product and solution-oriented content including positioning, pitch decks, other sales-facing materials, website content, videos, blogs, and webinars.
  • Plan the launch of new products and releases and manage cross-functional implementation.
  • Work and communicate cross-functionally to drive strategic demand generation efforts.

You will love this role if you have:

  • 3+ years of B2B Software Product Marketing experience.
  • Experience with the B2B Customer Experience, Customer Relationshiop Management, and/or Destination Marketing Organization software application markets is preferred.
  • Experience with developing product positioning and implementing product-specific demand generation programs.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment where functioning autonomously and collaborating as part of a team are equally important.
  • Self-starter with the curiosity to expand the scope of assigned projects and tasks as needed.
  • Experience in researching and analyzing market landscape and competitive intelligence.
  • Project management skills and an understanding of how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment.
  • Strong written communication and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable and professional when interacting with clients, onsite staffing, and representing Granicus to the general public.
  • Experience working with international and virtual teams.
