About Action1:

Action1 is an autonomous endpoint management platform that is cloud-native, infinitely scalable, highly secure, and configurable in 5 minutes—it just works and is always free for the first 200 endpoints, with no functional limits. By pioneering autonomous OS and third-party patching - AEM’s foundational use case - through peer-to-peer patch distribution and real-time vulnerability assessment without needing a VPN, it eliminates costly, time-consuming routine labor, preempts ransomware and security risks, and protects the digital employee experience. Trusted by thousands of enterprises managing millions of endpoints globally, Action1 is certified for SOC 2 and ISO 27001.

The company is founder-led by industry veterans Alex Vovk and Mike Walters, American entrepreneurs who founded Netwrix, which has grown into a multi-billion-dollar industry-leading cybersecurity company.

The Role

We’re looking for a hands-on, driven Product Marketing Manager to join our team and own the development of core messaging and sales-enablement content. This role combines strategic thinking with tactical execution — perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and wants to have visible, direct impact.

You’ll work closely with the co-founders, product team, and sales leaders to build materials that speak to technical audiences, support new feature releases, and differentiate us in a competitive cybersecurity market.

What You’ll Do

  • Craft compelling messaging and positioning for our platform and new feature releases.
  • Create customer-facing materials like product one-pagers, datasheets, solution briefs, sales decks, competitive comparisons, and more.
  • Partner with product and engineering to deeply understand our technology and translate it into business value.
  • Support the sales team with enablement resources that help accelerate deals and increase win rates.
  • Contribute to product launches, including narrative development, asset creation, and go-to-market alignment.
  • Potentially serve as a speaker or subject-matter contributor in webinars or thought leadership initiatives.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–6 years of experience in B2B product marketing — ideally within a cybersecurity, IT, or enterprise SaaS company.
  • Ability to quickly understand technical products and distill them into clear, benefit-driven messaging.
  • Experience working in dynamic environments where speed, autonomy, and self-direction are valued.
  • Strong writing, storytelling, and slide-building skills.
  • Collaborative mindset — you’re comfortable interfacing directly with company leadership, product teams, and customers.
  • Bonus: public speaking experience or interest in being a voice for the product externally.

Benefits

What We Offer:

  • Fully remote work, giving you the flexibility you need in the modern world
  • A role at the forefront of our online engagement strategy with the opportunity to impact how our content is presented and perceived globally.
  • A collaborative environment where creativity and innovation are encouraged.
  • A multitude of interesting challenges and opportunities.
  • Stable income and flexible working hours, opportunities for promotion.
  • Friendly and professional peers, eager to help and help you grow.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
