Who We Are

Arpio is building the next generation of disaster recovery for the cloud.

Modern enterprises face a growing list of threats to their cloud applications. With the increasing complexity of cloud-native environments, we know resilience to these threats is about more than just data. That’s why, at Arpio, we have built a best-in-class SaaS offering that makes it easier than ever to protect your entire AWS infrastructure from catastrophic downtime.

Behind the scenes, we are a small but mighty team (YC W21) who love to tackle hard problems and learn new things. We are fired up about working together to build an innovative new product and company from the ground up.

The Role

As our first Product Marketing Manager, you’ll play a key role in defining and communicating the value of our product to the market. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you’ll own product launch marketing, positioning and product messaging, and sales enablement materials, acting as a cross-functional expert on our customers, market, and competitors. You’ll help shape how we position our product, engage customers, and enable our sales and customer success teams.

Responsibilities

  • Positioning & Messaging: Craft and evolve compelling messaging that resonates with our key personas and differentiates our product.
  • Website: Partner with internal teams and external resources to ensure the website is clear, value-driven, and conversion-optimized.
  • Content: Create content (e.g., blog posts, one-pagers, landing pages, case studies, webinars) that supports the buyer journey and key product stories.
  • Sales Enablement: Develop collateral, battlecards, and training materials to empower sales and customer success teams.
  • Competitive Analysis: Monitor the competitive landscape and provide strategic insights to influence positioning and product strategy.
  • Audience Insights & Personas: Deeply understand our buyers and users, and develop robust personas that inform marketing and product strategies.
  • Product Launches: Drive the planning and execution of go-to-market strategies for new features and product releases. Stay on top of our roadmap, deeply understand our tech, and translate complex capabilities into clear customer value.

About You

  • 5+ years of product marketing experience at a B2B SaaS company
  • Proven success in early-stage or high-growth environments.
  • Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms; AWS, infrastructure, or security background is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead product launches, build compelling messaging, and develop enablement content that drives pipeline and adoption.
  • Skilled at synthesizing technical product capabilities into customer-centric narratives.
  • Experience conducting customer and market research to drive positioning and content.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter with a bias toward action and experimentation.

Why Join Us?

  • Opportunity to shape the marketing foundation at a fast-moving startup.
  • Work directly with seasoned founders and a talented, cross-functional team.
  • Make an impact from day one with plenty of ownership and visibility.
  • Competitive salary, employee stock options, home office stipend, and team offsites

Ready to help us bring our product to market and tell a story that resonates? Apply now and let’s build something great together.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
