Job Description

The Product Marketing Manager role leads and executes go-to-market strategies for connected product launches that will deliver on business objectives and grow market share. This includes planning and managing communication and content creation initiatives, developing and executing with cross-functional teams and outside agency partners, identifying project scope, creating timelines, providing status updates, and budget management. The ideal candidate will effectively manage these initiatives to influence and drive the consumer & end user path to purchase.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement impactful, integrated product launch communications and content for Moen’s Smart Water Network product portfolio.
  • Drive go-to-market planning and serve as the project lead and steward for all content development and execution.
  • From development to execution, leverage the FBIN in-house creative team or outside agency partners; this includes the creation of project briefs, providing clear upfront direction that delivers on business goals or objectives, and the ability to manage multiple partners simultaneously.
  • Communicate and manage multiple project timetables, meeting deadlines and budget parameters and obtaining approvals.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Smart Water Network product portfolio, target markets, customer personas, competitive landscape, value proposition, and key features to guide the execution of marketing strategies.
  • Partner with established COE (Center of Excellence) commercialization, product management, channel management, brand development, digital and creative teams to create product tools, resources, and content to drive consideration and conversion from prospects and existing customers.
  • Manage the execution of product marketing strategies, plans, and investments with internal and external teams and agency partners.
  • Be the main point of contact for marketing content development, production, and execution as defined in the commercialization strategy. This includes managing and facilitating timelines, briefs, and status meetings regularly.
  • Facilitate creative content and graphics development with internal and external creative teams and agencies. This includes product photography, CGI, videos, email communications, literature, digital content, presentations, customer-facing content, and others as requested.
  • Execute packaging artwork to support product launch requirements, working with both internal and external creative agency partners.
  • Collaborate with Brand Development team to implement brand strategy throughout all content deliverables for product launch in alignment with the business unit brand strategy.
  • Support the Security and Connected Products business unit brand & commercialization teams through cross-functional collaboration and best practice sharing, building strong marketing acumen through leadership and mentoring of other team members.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of business experience in Marketing or Communications
  • Required experience managing project teams and developing strategic communication or product commercialization plans.
  • Required experience working with advertising and creative agencies, PR professionals, and other external resources to deliver creative materials.
  • Omnichannel marketing experience; experience with consumer /durable goods industry in a home improvement or mass channel preferred.
  • Experience marketing connected/smart products strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to think long-term and strategically while balancing team resources and the tactical execution of individual projects.
  • Must be comfortable developing and delivering presentations for all levels of executive management and customer leadership teams.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to meet changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Minimal travel required primarily for agency meetings, occasional store visits, customer meetings and shows.

Additional Information

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $80,000 USD - $125,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
