Zipliens is a leading lien resolution company that specializes in streamlining the lien process for personal injury law firms. We are looking for proactive, results-driven individuals to join our dynamic team.

We are hiring Zipliens' first dedicated Product Marketing Manager, a high-impact, cross-functional role at the intersection of product, marketing, sales, and operations. You'll own how we understand our market, price and package our services, evaluate strategic partnerships, and bring new products and releases to market. This isn't a support role; it's an opportunity to build a discipline from scratch and directly influence how Zipliens grows.

This role sits within the Marketing function, with a direct reporting line to the Chief Customer Officer while the function is being established. You'll collaborate closely with the Marketing team, Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Lien Resolution Operations, and, on pricing, with Finance leadership.

RequirementsResponsibilities:

Product Market Fit & Research

  • Lead ongoing internal and external research to validate and sharpen product-market fit across Zipliens' lien resolution service lines
  • Gather structured input from Sales, Customer Success, Lien Resolution Operations, and law firm stakeholders to surface unmet needs, friction points, and expansion opportunities
  • Monitor trends and regulations in personal injury law, lien resolution, and legal tech that affect product and go-to-market strategy
  • Build a repeatable process for voice-of-customer and voice-of-market research, rather than one-off projects

Win-Loss Analysis

  • Design and run a formal win-loss program, including structured interviews with won and lost prospects
  • Synthesize findings into clear insights on positioning, pricing, competitive gaps, and objection handling
  • Partner with Sales & Marketing leadership to turn findings into updated talk tracks, battlecards, and enablement materials
  • Report win-loss trends on a regular cadence to Marketing, Sales, Product, and executive leadership

Pricing & Packaging

  • Own research and recommendations for Zipliens' pricing and packaging strategy
  • Partner directly with Finance leadership to build and stress-test pricing models, incorporating cost-to-serve, margin, and competitive benchmarks
  • Recommend packaging structures (e.g., tiering, bundling) aligned to client segment and law firm size
  • Establish a regular cadence for revisiting and refreshing pricing and packaging as the business and market evolve

Strategic Partnerships

  • Identify and evaluate potential strategic partners, including integrated technology vendors serving personal injury law firms (e.g., case management and legal practice management platforms)
  • Build the business case and a prioritization framework for partnership opportunities
  • Bring recommendations to Marketing, Product, and executive leadership, and support go-to-market planning for partnerships that move forward
  • Support ongoing partner relationships and co-marketing efforts once partnerships are established

GTM & Product Release Management

  • Own go-to-market planning and execution for new products, features, and service releases, both internal and external
  • Build launch plans, messaging, positioning, and enablement materials for each P1 release
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Lien Resolution Operations to ensure internal readiness ahead of any external communication
  • Maintain a GTM release calendar and run post-launch retrospectives to continually improve execution
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS, tech-enabled services, or legal/legal services
  • Demonstrated experience owning a win-loss program and translating findings into action
  • Experience building or directly contributing to pricing and packaging strategy, ideally in partnership with Finance
  • Comfortable evaluating and structuring strategic or vendor partnerships
  • Proven track record managing go-to-market launches end-to-end, from planning through cross-functional execution
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills; comfortable building and interpreting pricing models
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to translate research into clear recommendations for audiences ranging from operations teams to executive leadership
  • Ability to operate independently as the first dedicated PMM hire, building process and infrastructure with minimal existing structure, and fostering cross-functional relationships built on trust so you can effectively challenge the status quo and drive change
  • Experience in legal, legal services, insurance, or personal injury industries is a plus

Benefits
  • Comprehensive Health Benefits (Medical, Dental, and Vision), including HSA with employer contributions, FSA, and Dependent Care FSA
  • Company-Paid Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability
  • 401(k) Plan with Company Match
  • Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick Leave, and Select Holidays)
  • Parental Leave

Pay Disclosure: The total base salary range for this role is estimated at $106,000 - $144,000 annually, with opportunity for a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be determined based on skills and experience.

Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
