Chowbus is a leading AI-powered restaurant technology SaaS platform with deep roots in the North American market. We support thousands of restaurants of every size across the U.S. and Canada, with technology solutions spanning POS, AI, and digital tools that help restaurants run more efficiently and grow their business. We compete with companies like Toast, Square, Clover, and Menusifu. Our Marketing team plays a direct role in that growth.

We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to lead positioning, lifecycle marketing, and content for Chowbus's POS, software, financial services, and AI products. You'll translate product features into clear, benefit-driven messaging that restaurant owners understand, guide customers through their lifecycle, and create content that supports Sales and retention.

This is a remote role.

What You'll Focus On

Product Marketing & Positioning

  • Own positioning and messaging for Chowbus's POS, software, financial services, and AI product lines, tailored to Asian cuisine restaurant owners and operators.
  • Lead go-to-market strategy and launch execution for new products and features, partnering closely with Product and Engineering.
  • Develop deep expertise in restaurant operator needs, using customer and market research to shape product and GTM strategy.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape (Toast, Square, Clover, Menusifu) and translate insights into positioning and sales battlecards.

Lifecycle Marketing

  • Own lifecycle marketing campaigns that guide customers from onboarding through adoption, expansion, and renewal.
  • Partner with Customer Success to identify upsell and retention opportunities and turn them into targeted campaigns.
  • Build and manage lifecycle email/CRM workflows (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) segmented by product, tenure, and usage.
  • Track adoption and retention metrics, and continuously test messaging to improve feature adoption and reduce churn.

Content Marketing & Sales Enablement

  • Create content marketing assets, including case studies, blog posts, one-pagers, and product guides that simplify technical features for busy restaurant operators.
  • Build sales enablement materials: pitch decks, battlecards, and talk tracks that help Sales explain Chowbus's value clearly.
  • Partner with the Marketing Campaigns Manager and Digital Marketing Manager to keep content and messaging consistent across channels.
  • Support product launches with training, FAQs, and internal enablement for Sales and Customer Success.
What You Bring
  • 6+ years of experience in product marketing, lifecycle marketing, or content marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS, fintech, or payments.
  • Experience leading or supporting product launches and go-to-market plans.
  • Experience writing clear, benefit-driven copy for a non-technical audience.
  • Experience with lifecycle/CRM marketing tools such as HubSpot, Braze, or Iterable.
  • Experience partnering with Product, Sales, or Customer Success teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in restaurant technology, POS, or payments.
  • Experience with sales enablement tools such as Highspot or Seismic.
  • Experience with customer research, win/loss analysis, or voice-of-customer programs.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, SQL, or Tableau.
  • Preferred: Professional or fluent proficiency in Mandarin Chinese. Most of our team and many of our restaurant partners communicate in Mandarin, so this skill helps you collaborate effectively and understand our customers.
What We Offer
  • Competitive compensation package
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k)
  • 100% employer-paid Short-Term Disability (STD)
  • 100% employer-paid Life Insurance
  • 100% employer-paid AD&D Insurance
  • Company holidays
  • Birthday off
  • Paid Parental Leave
  • Flexible Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

The salary for this role is $100,000–$145,000, depending on experience.  This role may also be eligible for a performance bonus.

Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
