About the role

Cato Networks is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to help customers understand the value of our Security Service Edge (SSE) offering within the broader Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) platform.

You will lead global product marketing initiatives for SSE, translating technical capabilities into clear positioning, differentiated messaging, and compelling customer stories. Working across Product, Sales, Sales Engineering, and Marketing, you will help bring new capabilities to market, equip the field to communicate their value, and build customer understanding and demand.

You will also support selected sales opportunities in Western North America by joining customer calls, delivering product and business-value messaging, and helping teams address buyer questions and competitive objections. Sales Engineering will provide technical discovery, solution design, and evaluation support.

Responsibilities

    • Positioning and messaging: Develop clear, differentiated SSE messaging that connects Cato’s capabilities to customer challenges, buying priorities, and business outcomes. Tailor the story for security leaders, technical evaluators, and business stakeholders.
    • Product launches: Lead product marketing for priority SSE launches, aligning audiences, messaging, content, and field readiness across teams. Define launch objectives and assess results with your cross-functional partners.
    • Content and thought leadership: Create presentations, blogs, white papers, eBooks, webinars, and other assets that explain complex security topics, support buying decisions, and contribute to demand generation.
    • Competitive insight: Translate market research, customer feedback, and competitive analysis into differentiated messaging, practical battle cards, and guidance sellers can use in customer conversations.
    • Sales and partner enablement: Equip global sales, sales engineering, and partner teams with messaging, presentations, training, and objection-handling resources. Build their ability to explain Cato’s SSE value consistently and effectively.
    • Regional sales support: Partner with sales teams on selected strategic opportunities in Western North America. Join sales calls, deliver the SSE story, connect capabilities to customer priorities, and support deal progression alongside the assigned SE.
    • Customer and market feedback: Turn insights from customer conversations, sales engagements, and market research into recommendations for messaging, content, launch plans, and product priorities.
    • Cross-functional execution: Work with Product Management and Marketing on customer stories, events, campaigns, and analyst briefings, ensuring a consistent SSE narrative across channels.

Qualifications

    • 4+ years of product marketing experience in cybersecurity, with demonstrated contributions to positioning, launches, content, and sales enablement.
    • Strong technical fluency in security and networking, with the ability to understand SSE capabilities and explain their relevance to customer needs.
    • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for both technical and executive audiences.
    • Strong writing and presentation skills, supported by examples of customer-facing content, presentations, or enablement materials.
    • Experience collaborating with Product Management, Sales, Sales Engineering, and Marketing to deliver shared priorities.
    • Ability to use customer research, competitive intelligence, and performance data to improve messaging and marketing decisions.
    • Strong prioritization and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives across a global team.
    • An engineering degree or equivalent hands-on experience in cybersecurity, networking, or a related technical field.

A reasonable estimate of the salary for this role, at the time of posting, is $190,000 - $210,000. Cato operates from a high place of trust and transparency; we are happy to state the pay range for our open roles to best align with your needs. Exact compensation may vary based on skill set, experience, location, training, and certifications.
