Position Summary

Rimini Street is looking for a passionate, cutting-edge Product Marketer who will help propel and advance our growing product and services portfolio. This Product Marketer is responsible for defining how we go to market, creating key sales plays and related content and messaging, campaign strategies, sales tools, product launch, and sales enablement content – all in support of developing world-class product strategy and go-to-market plans and its related execution. You will work cross-functionally to support marketing campaigns, awareness-building, new product releases, and support sales in positioning and selling our products and services across multiple personas. You are the product spokesperson who will work in tandem with Sales Enablement to define and optimize the sales process to ensure we are delivering the right message, to the right audience and at the right time.
This is a perfect role for someone who is fast-paced and wants to be a key contributor to a passionate Product Marketing team focused on bringing incredible value to businesses while at the same time disrupting the software support and services industry.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop messaging and content for industry solutions related to Rimini Street’s offerings.
  • Develop the key narratives for how we go-to-market in select industries: Manufacturing, Telecommunications, Utilities, Retail, Financial Services, Professional Services, and Energy.
  • Understand customer segmentation within those industries and industry market trends.
  • Research and document buyer specific industry personas and buyer journeys with the ability to articulate and apply them across all sales tools, sales triggers, and marketing content.
  • Build differentiated product value propositions, positioning, and messaging for those targeted industries specific to Rimini Street offerings.
  • Conduct core research on relevant industry market trends, distill customer requirements, and emerging customer use cases.  Leverage secondary research wherever possible.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams on product strategy and positioning to support, product launches and releases.
  • Define the analyst and press engagement strategy as to who are the key individuals to invest time and build relationships with.  Execute the engagement with the collaboration of our AR/PR team.
  • Define how we build key industry sales motions and sales plays to take specific products, services, and solutions to market.
  • Communicate the product and/or service value proposition to all internal stakeholders.
  • Develop content for sales collateral and tools to support the sales cycle (i.e. sales playbook, motions, and pitches)
  • Conduct sales enablement around the industry sales play and GTM motions.
  • Partner with our customer reference team and account managers to create and update key compelling industry use cases based on client interviews and engagements to illustrate the value delivered to our clients.
  • Understand the overall competitive landscape in which we compete related to each industry.
  • Partner with Global Integrated Campaigns and Regional Marketing, as well as the Awareness, Creative, and Content Strategy teams to activate industry campaigns and the necessary content.
  • Work across all functions and teams to ensure the right content and programs are developed and successfully delivered producing measurable results.
  • Act as an SME across the organization to support thought leadership and market positioning.
  • Champion voice of the client by capturing CX insights about our clients’ requirements through direct and indirect client outreach that is pertinent to those industry segments.

Education

  • BS/BA degree required
  • Advanced degree or MBA preferred

Location

  • Remote - U.S.

Experience

  • 5-8 years’ experience of B2B software or SaaS product marketing experience, preferably with the enterprise application portfolio (ERP, HCP, SCM, MES, Finance/GL, OLTP) and/or the infrastructure layer (middleware, messaging, connectivity, O/S, virtualization, private cloud, systems management).
  • Experience in industry solutions marketing in at least two or three of our targeted industry segments.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinker with hands-on execution in creating a marketing strategy, go-to-market plans, messaging hierarchy, personas, and foundational product and/or service marketing content.
  • Prior in-depth experience with enterprise software and technology support and maintenance or application managed services
  • Proficient in developing client go-to-market strategies (solution and services definition, packaging, and positioning) for leading technology, services, or software companies is required.
  • Experienced working with sales leadership and field sales to support, to enhance the overall sales process and increase the sales team proficiency levels.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching, managing, and growing revenue of commercial software products and/or services.

  • Demonstrated track record of working across multiple teams, improving the effectiveness of sales professionals, and developing successful go-to-market strategies.
  • Excellent oral/public speaking and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information and concepts across a variety of audiences.
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional product launches, sales enablement, and end-to-end development and execution of supporting marketing strategies.
  • Strong project management and time management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills

Compensation is based on role, location, and level of applicable experience. 

Rimini’s target pay for each position is available upon request during the applicant’s Interview process.

The general salary range for this type of role is 103k - 129k depending on skills and experience.
