Product Marketing Manager for Enterprise – VAST AI Operating System

VAST Data is the data platform company for the AI era. We are building the enterprise software infrastructure to capture, catalog, refine, enrich, and protect massive datasets and make them available for real-time data analysis and AI training and inference. Designed from the ground up to make AI simple to deploy and manage, VAST takes the cost and complexity out of deploying enterprise and AI infrastructure across data center, edge, and cloud. THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Product Marketing Manager to drive go-to-market initiatives focused specifically on Enterprise accounts. Your primary objective is to position the VAST AI Operating System as the ideal solution for consolidating and managing complex enterprise workloads, ensuring customers are positioned for future AI adoption.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Product Marketing Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute strategic go-to-market plans tailored to Enterprise customers.
  • Craft compelling, differentiated messaging and positioning that resonates with Enterprise buyers including CIOs, IT architects, and developers.
  • Conduct market analysis, identifying trends, threats, and opportunities in the enterprise infrastructure landscape.

Technical Evangelism

  • Translate complex technical features into clear enterprise benefits and tangible business outcomes.
  • Serve as an expert resource on enterprise systems architecture, emphasizing virtual machines, containers, unified file and object storage, data protection, compliance, and security.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management and Engineering to influence product roadmap and direction based on enterprise customer requirements and market insights.

Sales Enablement & Customer Engagement

  • Create high-impact sales tools, presentations, product demonstrations, webinars,and training materials that effectively communicate technical and business advantages.
  • Support sales teams with strategic responses to enterprise RFPs and detailed technical inquiries.
  • Engage regularly with enterprise customers to capture insights, validate product positioning, and foster advocacy.

Content Development & Thought Leadership

  • Produce influential content including whitepapers, case studies, solution briefs, blogs, and FAQs tailored to enterprise audiences.
  • Partner with demand generation teams to design and execute targeted marketingcampaigns driving awareness, leads, and adoption within Enterprise accounts.
  • Represent VAST Data as a thought leader in industry events, panels, webinars, and through editorial contributions.

Requirements
  • 10+ years of proven experience in product or solution marketing within enterprise IT infrastructure, data storage, or related fields.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise infrastructure architectures, virtualization, containers, and file/object storage solutions.
  • Familiarity with modern AI/ML data pipelines and analytics workloads.
  • Strong expertise in aligning complex technical solutions with business-driven enterprise objectives.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with proven ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and business audiences.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing impactful marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Highly collaborative with a proactive approach to managing cross-functional projects.
  • Willingness to travel for customer engagements, industry events, and internal meetings.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of enterprise compliance frameworks and security standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Experience working in fast-paced startup environments or rapidly scaling technology companies
