Independently assess trade-offs and make strategic recommendations that influence roadmap decisions, balancing user insights with business goals.

Marketing GTM:

  • Strategy Development: Create and own comprehensive marketing and go-to-market strategies for high-impact, large product upgrades and releases. Define target audience, positioning and messaging, rooted in clear objectives and insights. Leverage deep market insights and competitive analysis to ensure strategic differentiation.
  • Go-To-Market Execution: Implement and optimize GTM plans by partnering cross-functionally to launch new features and programs across various channels, driving product adoption and increasing brand sentiment. Drive measurable increases in user acquisition, engagement, and monetization.
  • Collaboration with Channel Owners: Partner with channel owners to develop and implement acquisition and retention strategies that align Uniswap-wide growth objectives and key business metrics. Influence cross-functional teams by providing thought leadership on best practices and performance-driven marketing tactics.

Research & Analysis:

  • User Research: Lead and independently design planning and conduct both qualitative and quantitative research initiatives to develop and continuously refine detailed Uniswap retail user personas. Synthesize research into actionable recommendations that shape product and marketing strategies at an executive level.
  • User Segmentation: Partner with data science teams to proactively gain deep insights into user segments, monitoring and influencing user behavior and product usage through comprehensive analytics. Influence leadership decisions by identifying trends and opportunities through advanced analytics.
  • Competitive Analysis: Regularly monitor and research competitive products, value propositions, and market positioning, generating weekly reports with clear recommendations that impact both product and growth strategies. Serve as an internal expert on market trends, translating insights into competitive advantage.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of Product Marketing experience working with technical B2C products, ideally in crypto or fintech
  • Obsessed with crypto, DeFi, and Web3 as transformative opportunities, with personal or professional experience using a self-custody wallet, engaging with dApps, NFTs, or participating in DAOs
  • Ability to lead through influence, develop strong relationships with technical teams, and drive alignment across teams
  • Incredibly clear written communication and desire to document everything
  • Very organized, able to stay on top of several moving projects at once

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
