Are you a visionary Product Marketing leader with a passion for crypto and a knack for driving impactful strategies? We're seeking an experienced and highly detail-oriented Product Marketing Lead to shape our narrative, accelerate our growth in the dynamic crypto space, and lead a talented team. If you thrive on building compelling product stories, engaging with a passionate community, and have a proven track record of 10+ years in marketing, with significant experience in crypto and people management, we want to hear from you!

We have created the Factors of Growth & Impact to help Villagers better measure impact and articulate coaching, feedback, and the rich and rewarding learning that happens while exploring, developing, and mastering the capabilities and contributions within and outside of the Director, Product Marketing role:

Technical Skills:

  • Drive comprehensive product launch strategies, GTM plans, and ongoing marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Build compelling product messaging, positioning, and narratives that resonate with target audiences in the crypto ecosystem.

Complexity and Impact of Work:

  • Lead the entire product marketing lifecycle from concept to launch and beyond, driving significant user adoption and engagement.
  • Manage and mentor a team of high performing and experienced product marketers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high performance.

Organizational Knowledge:

  • Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, sales, and communications to ensure cohesive product development and market success.
  • Deliver market insights and competitive intelligence to inform product roadmap decisions and identify new growth opportunities.

Communication and Influence:

  • Listen to market feedback, user needs, and internal stakeholders to inform and refine product marketing strategies.
  • Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the marketing organization through insightful analysis and persuasive communication.

You may be a fit for this role if you have:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing, with at least 5 years specifically in product marketing.
  • Demonstrable experience (3+ years) in crypto marketing, including a strong understanding of blockchain technology, DeFi, and stablecoin trends.
  • Proven experience in managing and growing marketing teams.
  • Highly strategic mindset with the ability to define long-term vision and translate it into actionable, detailed plans.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all marketing materials and campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
  • A deep understanding of market research methodologies and competitive analysis.

Although not a requirement, bonus points if:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment.
  • Familiarity with various marketing automation and CRM tools.
  • A strong network within the crypto community.
  • You were emotionally moved by the soundtrack to Hamilton, which chronicles the founding of a new financial system. :)
