About Burq

Burq started with an ambitious mission: how can we turn the complex process of offering delivery into a simple turnkey solution.

We started with building the largest network of delivery networks, partnering with some of the biggest delivery companies. We then made it extremely easy for businesses to plug into our network and start offering delivery to their customers. Now, we’re powering deliveries for some of the fastest-growing companies from retailers to startups.

It’s a big mission and now we want you to join us to make it even bigger! 🚀

We’re already backed by some of the Valley's leading venture capitalists, including Village Global, the fund whose investors include Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, Reid Hoffman, and Sara Blakely. We have assembled a world-class team all over the U.S.

We operate at scale, but we're still a small team relative to the opportunity. We have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to grow while doing the most important work of your career.

We want people who are unafraid to be wrong and support decisions with numbers and narrative. Here’s a quick overview of what you will be doing:

About the Role

We’re looking for a strategic and execution-driven Product Marketing Manager to own and drive go-to-market (GTM) strategies, product launches, and customer adoption efforts. You’ll work cross-functionally to refine customer personas, inform product design through research, and ensure that teams are equipped with the knowledge they need to support new features. This role requires a deep understanding of B2B SaaS marketing, strong storytelling skills, and a passion for driving revenue growth through better customer experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Drive GTM Strategy – Own the go-to-market strategy for new product launches and features, aligning efforts across marketing, product, sales, and customer success teams.
  • Product Launches – Lead messaging, positioning, and enablement efforts for new features, ensuring successful adoption and revenue impact.
  • Customer Research & Persona Development – Refine and expand customer personas, conduct surveys, and synthesize insights to inform product development and marketing initiatives.
  • Internal Enablement & Training – Serve as a liaison between departments, ensuring teams are well-equipped with the knowledge and tools to support new features and updates.
  • Customer Experience & Adoption Campaigns – Develop targeted campaigns to drive product adoption, feature utilization, and revenue growth among existing customers.
  • Content & Sales Enablement – Create help guides, product documentation, sales collateral, and training materials to improve customer engagement and team effectiveness.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with product, design, sales, and customer success to ensure consistent messaging and seamless execution of marketing strategies.
  • Metrics & Performance – Track feature adoption, customer engagement, and revenue impact to refine strategies and drive continuous improvement.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Experience with growth marketing strategies to optimize customer retention and expansion for example:
    • Knowledge of SEO and content strategies to improve discoverability.
    • Experience creating dashboards or reports (Google Analytics, HubSpot, Heap, etc.) to measure campaign success and product adoption.
    • Ability to identify and implement marketing initiatives that increase customer lifetime value (LTV) and drive product-led growth strategies.
  • Startup experience – ability to move quickly, pivot when needed, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Mailchimp, Confluence, SendGrid and marketing automation platforms
  • Background in conducting customer interviews, surveys, and competitive analysis
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of experience in B2B SaaS product marketing
  • Proven success in driving GTM strategies and product launches
  • Strong understanding of customer personas, market research, and messaging development
  • Ability to create compelling customer-facing content and internal training materials
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product, sales, and customer success teams

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
