At Sword, we’re building AI to heal billions and unlock humanity’s full potential. In doing so, we’re pioneering AI Care, a fundamentally new approach to healthcare built for medical reasoning, safety, and real-time treatment, not generic technology applied after the fact. As both a clinical-centric frontier AI lab and an applied AI platform, Sword is reimagining how care is delivered at scale, removing traditional barriers like appointments, waiting rooms, and stigma so more people can access the care they need - and ultimately get back to lives lived in full.
Since 2020, Sword has expanded across Musculoskeletal, Women’s Health, Cardiometabolic, and Mental Health, and is now moving beyond the session to a fully AI-native, 24/7 care program that brings physical activity, therapeutic exercise, psychotherapy, nutrition, and behavior change into one connected experience. More than 1 million members across three continents have completed over 15 million AI sessions, helping 2,000+ enterprise clients avoid more than $1 billion in unnecessary healthcare costs. Backed by 59 clinical studies, 43 patents, and more than $500 million raised from leading investors including Khosla Ventures, General Catalyst, and Founders Fund, Sword is defining a new standard for healthcare.

Role

We are looking for an ambitious, sharp, and execution-minded Product Marketing Lead to help build, define, and scale the future of AI Care across the Payor ecosystem, including Health Plans, Public Sector/Government entities, and Labor & Unions.

There has truly never been a better time to be a product marketer at Sword. We are actively launching category-defining products, expanding our platform capabilities, and completely redefining how care is delivered at population scale. In this role, you will be the primary GTM strategist and storytelling engine for our Payor business, taking a breakthrough AI platform narrative and turning it into hyper-resonant, high-converting commercial realities for health plan executives, medical directors, public sector procurement, and union trustees.

    AI Proficiency at Sword Health

AI fluency is a core expectation at Sword Health. Every candidate is assessed against our three-level framework — be ready to share real examples of how AI is already part of how you work.

    • Explorer (Level 1) — Uses AI daily to boost personal productivity

    • Builder (Level 2) — Creates workflows and tools that elevate the whole team

    • Integrator (Level 3) — Embeds AI into products and processes at scale

    • Every hire must demonstrate at least Level 1. The expected level will vary depending on the seniority of the role.

Why this role is unique:

You aren't just selling a vendor solution; you are establishing a brand-new category in healthcare for the largest, most complex risk-bearing organizations in the country. You will be the connective tissue between our General Managers (our resident product experts), Payor leaders, and Marketing execution teams.

This is a high-impact, hands-on IC role designed for a PMM who thrives on navigating intricate healthcare ecosystems. You will partner directly with GMs to package our expanding platform, craft crisp value propositions for multi-stakeholder committees, and launch end-to-end campaigns that drive massive adoption. If you want to put your name on a category-defining brand while shipping high-leverage GTM work every single week—this is your sandbox.

What you'll be doing:

    1. Payor Narrative & Audience Packaging
  • GM Co-Pilot: Partner hand-in-hand with General Managers to translate complex AI Care platform capabilities into compelling solution packages tailored to Commercial Health Plans, Public Sector, and Labor/Unions.

  • Packaging & Contracting Alignment: Take our overarching AI Care story and turn it into clear product packaging, value-based models, and solution offerings designed for payor contracting, ASO/FI structures, and trust fund requirements.

  • Actionable Buyer Mapping & Sales Plays: Map the complex payor buying matrix and translate those insights into actionable sales playbooks, RFP narrative blocks, pitch tracks, and objection toolkits that accelerate long-cycle payor deals.

  • 2. Audience Positioning, Messaging & Asset Creation
  • Tailored Value Prop Development: Build sharp, differentiation-focused messaging frameworks that clearly articulate population health impact, cost-of-care reduction, accessibility, and clinical outcomes for payor audiences.

  • Rapid Messaging & Asset Testing: Continuously test, iterate, and refine positioning across payor channels, health plan pitch meetings, and RFP responses based on real-time market feedback.

  • High-Impact Content Creation: Own the production of Payor GTM assets end-to-end, from executive pitch decks and clinical impact summaries to RFP content blocks and partnership guides.

  • 3. End-to-End Campaign Activation
  • Full-Funnel Payor Campaigns: Conceptualize, launch, and manage integrated product and audience campaigns end-to-end, driving everything from product drops to targeted push campaigns timed around payor planning cycles and trust fund cycles.

  • Payor Sales Enablement: Equip the Payor Commercial team with value props, sales plays, and pitch materials needed to win deals faster and at higher contract values.

  • Cross-Functional Execution: Work across Demand Gen, Brand, Events, and GMs to build orchestrated GTM pushes that build pipeline and cement our leadership in the employer market.

What you need to have:

  • Category-Building Energy: 8+ years of B2B Product Marketing experience, with a track record of launching new products, crafting compelling narratives, and driving complex GTM activation.

  • Payor Ecosystem Domain Alignment: Deep experience marketing into healthcare payors, specifically Health Plans, Public Sector/Government programs, or Labor/Trust Funds. You understand medical management, health plan procurement, and member engagement dynamics.

  • Mastery of Positioning: Exceptional ability to take complex, cutting-edge technology and translate it into clear, credible, clinical, and financially persuasive value propositions for payor buyers.

  • Campaign & Execution Chops: A proven bias for action. You love taking campaigns from napkin sketch to market launch, measuring success by pipeline impact, deal velocity, and contract wins.

  • Cross-Functional Influence: Exceptional emotional intelligence and clarity to work alongside high-powered GMs, Product Managers, and Commercial executives.

  • Scrappy & Strategic: You can step back to look at macro payor category positioning, but you get equally excited about getting into the weeds to build a killer pitch deck or refine an RFP narrative.

  • AI-Augmented Marketer: You don't just market AI, you use it. You actively leverage modern AI tools to accelerate audience research, draft and test messaging variants, analyze deal intelligence, and scale your content output without sacrificing quality.
