Owner of bottom-of-funnel product marketing for an AI agent platform used inside CAD/CAE/PLM tools. Build messaging, content, and reusable assets (videos, web, sales enablement), run competitive analysis, launch multi-channel campaigns, and work cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Partners to drive demo requests and predictable pipeline using AI-first workflows.
The summary above was generated by AI

Most companies describe what their product does. Very few can explain why it fundamentally changes how engineering work gets done, and even fewer can build the content engine that makes buyers truly get it. Can you?

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Synera is the AI Agent Platform for Engineering — a platform where digital coworkers execute real engineering work inside CAD, CAE, and PLM costing tools, turning days of complex engineering processes into minutes. Our clients include BMW, Airbus, and NASA, and we're growing fast.

You'll join Kacey and the Marketing team as Synera's first dedicated Product Marketing Engineer. This is both a strategic and hands-on role — you'll shape how Synera is positioned in the market, build the business case for buyers, enable the sales team, and use AI to produce the content and assets that make it all real. Engineering leaders need to understand what Synera does and why now is the moment to act. Engineers need to see use cases that speak to their daily challenges. You'll own both sides of that conversation.

You'll own product positioning and value messaging end-to-end and work closely with the CPO, Product Managers, CEO, Sales, Customer Success, technical SMEs, and channel owners across website, LinkedIn, YouTube, webinars, and events.

👉 What a week at Synera could look like:
  • Monday: Join the all-hands, then sync with PM’s and the CPO on the latest competitive updates and operationalize the positioning strategy into what needs to go to market next.

  • Tuesday: Interview a technical SME about a new simulation use case, then turn your notes into a messaging doc for marketing assets and a cheat sheet for the sales team — and let the campaign agent you built kick off the workflow.

  • Wednesday: Review learnings from customer and buyer calls, work on a battlecard with Sales, and lead a campaign briefing for a customer success story.

  • Thursday: Run a planning session with Customer Success on expansion campaign assets, then check demo request numbers and weave any optimizations into your next sprint.

  • Friday: Wrap up a demo video script, log into Synera to build the demo, and close out with an async check-in with our Head of North America Sales in San Francisco.

⚡ In 6 months:
  • Positioning and product messaging for key personas is clearly defined

  • A content engine is live with reusable assets across video, one-pagers, web pages, slides, and blogs

  • Competitive comparisons and business cases are published

  • First signals from Sales and CS that materials are moving deals forward

  • A steady increase in demo requests is coming in from the first multi-thread campaign that you launched together with SDRs

⚡ In 12 months:
  • Your campaigns are producing predictable pipeline

  • Product messaging and differentiated positioning is consistent across all channels and entrenched in customer-facing team members’ minds

  • Product marketing runs as a documented, repeatable function with AI-first workflows and clear SOPs

  • You are an active participant in strategy positioning, lead product marketing, have established collaborative processes across the organization, and report outcomes to marketing leadership

Here is our team at the summer event - join us at the next one! 👋

  • You resonate with Synera's Core Values - they're central to how we work, and we'll explore them together in your first interview.

  • You have 5–8+ years in B2B product marketing, technical marketing, or solutions marketing — ideally in engineering software, simulation, CAx, PLM, or enterprise SaaS.

  • You have a background in engineering, simulation, or CAD software, and understand how engineers work.

  • You're an exceptional writer and storyteller who can translate complex technical workflows into narratives that resonate with both technical and executive audiences.

  • You’re excellent project manager with the ability to create highly efficient processes with attention to detail.

  • You work AI-first and are excited about building AI-supported content workflows from scratch.

  • You thrive with high ownership and are comfortable navigating ambiguity — this is a builder role at an internationally growing scale-up, and you'll be defining the internal processes as you go.

  • You're fluent in English; German is strongly preferred. French is a plus.

P.S. Synera is a place where everyone can grow. So, however you identify and whatever background you bring with you, please apply if this is a role that would make you excited to come to work every day, and be prepared to share with us how your perspective will bring something unique and valuable to our Marketing team.
