Company Description

Founded in 2009, DNAnexus is the world's most trusted platform for omics data enablement, transforming the most complex data in healthcare into a governed, AI-ready, reusable asset. DNAnexus gives pharmaceutical, diagnostic, health system, biobank, and regulatory organizations a single platform to contextualize, orchestrate, and federate multimodal omics data, translating it into a source code for discovery. Today, DNAnexus is where the largest globally connected community of scientists synthesizes biological intelligence at unmatched industrial scale. More than 64,000 researchers across 54 countries and 130+ enterprise customers run production-grade and regulatory-grade omics work on DNAnexus, processing 135+ petabytes of genomic and multimodal data. Our vision is to make precision health a reality for all.

Job Description

DNAnexus is strengthening product marketing across our BioPharma, Diagnostics, and Health Systems businesses, and we are looking for an execution-focused Product Marketing Manager to help us move faster and sharper. This is a hands-on role for someone who turns strategy into a steady stream of high-quality content, enablement, and launch support, and who does it with modern AI tools already woven into how they work.

We do not just market AI-enabled omics solutions — we market with AI, and we expect you to show up already doing the same. You will partner closely with the Director of Product Marketing and other marketing team members to operationalize messaging, produce the assets that sales and the business need, and keep our commercial narrative consistent across every product, solution, and business unit.

The precision health market is being reshaped by the growth of multiomics data and the rapid maturation of AI-driven discovery. At DNAnexus, you will help translate that opportunity into clear, accurate, and consistent go-to-market materials that reach our customers where it matters.

What You'll Own

  • AI-accelerated content production: Produce the core content engine across the portfolio, including web copy, one-pagers, case studies, solution briefs, email, social, and campaign assets. Use AI-assisted workflows to increase output and velocity without sacrificing quality, accuracy, or brand voice.
  • Sales enablement: Build and maintain the enablement materials that help global sales teams activate our solutions, including pitch decks, talk tracks, competitive one-pagers (internal use), FAQs, and onboarding content. Drive adoption of these materials and keep them current as messaging evolves.
  • Launch support: Coordinate and execute the marketing deliverables behind product and solution launches across BioPharma, Diagnostics, and Health Systems, keeping timelines, assets, and cross-functional handoffs on track.
  • Message pull-through: Apply approved positioning and messaging consistently across every asset, channel, and business unit, so the market hears one clear and correct story.
  • Competitive and market intelligence support: Help gather, organize, and maintain the competitive and market inputs that sharpen our positioning and enablement, keeping all competitive intelligence in internal-only materials.
  • Cross-functional coordination: Serve as a reliable connective point between Product, Sales, the business teams, and our agency partner, making sure work moves forward and stays coordinated across teams.
  • Durable ownership of ongoing workstreams: Own the recurring work the commercial organization depends on day to day, including enablement upkeep, asset maintenance, launch logistics, and message consistency, so the portfolio stays fully supported through periods of high activity and team transitions.
  • AI-powered marketing practice: Continuously test and adopt AI tools across content production, market intelligence, and campaign support, using them responsibly and strategically to increase the speed and impact of your work.

What Success Looks Like (Your KPIs)

We want the outcomes for this role to be unmistakable. Within the first year, success means measurable progress against:

  • Content output and velocity: a higher volume of on-brand assets produced, and faster turnaround from request to delivery.
  • Sales-enablement adoption: enablement materials that sales teams actively use in the field.
  • Message pull-through: approved positioning applied consistently across assets, channels, and business units.
  • Launch support: on-time, complete marketing deliverables for every supported launch.
  • Influence on pipeline and win rates: measurable contribution of marketing content and enablement to pipeline creation and win rates, in partnership with sales and revenue operations.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product marketing experience, including time in SaaS or platform technology and hands-on work with AI-enabled solutions.
  • Working knowledge of the precision health, omics, life sciences, or an adjacent technical landscape, with the ability to learn our products and customers quickly. Familiarity across BioPharma, diagnostics, clinical research, biobanks, or health systems is a plus.
  • Demonstrated, hands-on experience using AI tools (generative AI, content platforms, and analysis tools) to accelerate marketing output and improve quality.
  • Strong writing and content skills, with a portfolio of clear, accurate, and on-brand work.
  • A collaborative, self-directed working style, and comfort owning execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort with data and marketing metrics to inform and prove the impact of your work.
  • Bachelor's degree required.

Our Values in Action

  • Accountability: You build trust by doing the right thing and taking ownership of your results — you follow through on commitments and hold yourself to the outcomes above, not just the activity.
  • Curious: You dig into the reasons behind our customers, our products, and the market, and turn what you learn into sharper, more accurate content.
  • Groundbreaking: AI is already part of how you produce, research, and iterate — you'd rather ship, measure, and improve than wait for perfect conditions, and you push our marketing practice forward.
  • Trustworthy: Product, sales, and our agency partners can count on your work being accurate, on-brand, and on time, even when things move fast.

Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $90,000- $120,000 with an annual bonus component included. Factors that may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Benefits

The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, short-term disability insurance, flexible paid time off, 12 weeks of paid parental leave, and paid national holidays.
