About Right Side Up

Please note, this posting is to highlight joining Right Side Up's talent collective specifically and is not representing an internal full-time role, or a current opportunity with a client.

Right Side Up is a collective of premium marketing talent—with all of the marketing chops, and none of the agency fluff. We’re trusted by the most respected early-stage ventures, the fastest-growing tech companies, and well-established Fortune 500 teams to do one thing better: Growth. We have over 250+ clients including Stitch Fix, Sephora, Yelp, Sun Basket, Crunchbase, DoorDash, Robinhood, and more.

About the Role

We’re seeking freelance Product Marketing consultants to join our talent collective and support a range of high-growth clients. This role is ideal for marketers who thrive at the intersection of product, marketing, and sales—bringing clarity to positioning, driving go-to-market strategy, and enabling teams to successfully launch and scale products.

Projects vary widely depending on client needs and may include early-stage product launches, refining messaging for mature offerings, or building scalable systems for ongoing growth. Contract engagements typically range from 10–40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

    • Develop and refine product positioning, messaging, and value propositions

    • Lead or support go-to-market (GTM) strategy and execution for new product and feature launches

    • Partner with product, growth, and sales teams to align on strategy and priorities

    • Create compelling marketing assets such as landing pages, sales decks, one-pagers, and case studies

    • Build and execute sales enablement materials to support revenue teams

    • Plan and support webinars, product launches, and other demand generation initiatives

    • Conduct market, customer, and competitive research to inform strategy

    • Identify opportunities to improve conversion, adoption, and overall product-market fit

Requirements

    • Strong foundation in product marketing across B2B, B2C, or both

    • Experience owning or contributing to GTM strategy and execution

    • Ability to translate complex product concepts into clear, compelling messaging

    • Comfort working cross-functionally with product, sales, and marketing stakeholders

    • Experience with one or more areas such as sales enablement, lifecycle marketing, webinars/events, or content strategy

    • Analytical mindset with the ability to use insights to inform decisions

    • Adaptability and comfort working across different industries, products, and team structures

    • Strong communication and storytelling skills

Nice to Have

    • Experience working with early-stage startups or high-growth tech companies

    • Familiarity with PLG (product-led growth) or sales-led motions

    • Experience supporting both strategic planning and hands-on execution
