About LangChain

At LangChain, our mission is to make intelligent agents ubiquitous. We help developers build mission-critical AI applications across the entire agent development lifecycle. Our open source frameworks — LangChain and LangGraph — see over 70+ million downloads per month. Developers rely on LangChain for composable integrations and LangGraph for controllable agent orchestration. Our commercial agent platform, consisting of LangSmith and LangGraph Platform, enables teams to build, test, run, and manage agents at scale across their organization.

Founded in 2023, LangChain powers top engineering teams at companies like Replit, Lovable, Clay, Klarna, LinkedIn, and more.

The Role

We're seeking an experienced Product Marketer to own the messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategy for our open-source frameworks (LangChain and LangGraph) and our newest commercial product, LangGraph Platform. This is a high-impact role where you'll shape how the world understands and adopts cutting-edge AI development tools.

You'll be the bridge between our innovative products and the technical audiences who build with them. You'll craft compelling narratives that resonate with both hands-on practitioners and enterprise decision-makers, driving adoption across our entire product ecosystem.

What You'll Do
  • Define differentiated and clear messaging and positioning for LangChain, LangGraph, and LangGraph Platform

  • Lead product launches from conception to execution, coordinating across product, engineering, sales, and marketing teams

  • Build content that moves customers through the buying journey, from initial awareness to expansion

  • Develop compelling value propositions and narratives that resonate with technical audiences

  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends

  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams to influence product roadmap based on market insights

  • Monitor competitive positioning and identify opportunities for differentiation in the AI agent/application development space

  • Rapidly iterate on messaging, content, and enablement based on market feedback and changes

  • Help enable our rapidly growing sales team

What We're Looking For
  • 8+ years of product marketing experience, preferably in developer tools, infrastructure, or AI/ML products

  • Clear and concise messaging, positioning, writing, and communication skills with a track record of creating compelling technical content

  • Strong market research skills and customer-first approach with genuine curiosity about user needs

  • Highly organized and able to manage complex cross-functional projects and launches

  • Self-starter who drives projects forward, navigates ambiguity, and influences peers without direct authority

  • Genuine interest in AI with hands-on experience using and experimenting with AI tools and applications

  • Experience marketing to technical audiences, including both practitioners (developers, engineers) and decision-makers (CTOs, engineering leaders) for product-led and sales-led motions

  • Previous startup experience and comfort working in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment

Nice to Have
  • Experience marketing AI/ML products or developer tools

  • Open source community experience and understanding of OSS business models

  • Technical background with ability to write code, build demos, or create technical content

  • Pricing and packaging experience, particularly for developer-focused products

We Offer
  • Salary: $200,000-$240,000 based on experience

  • Equity: Significant upside in a fast-growing AI company

  • Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and 401(k), Flexible PTO

  • Impact: Shape the future of AI development with millions of developers using your work

Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
