What Will You Do?

The Overview

The Product Market Research Intern will analyze market trends and competitor strategies. This intern will conduct comprehensive competitive product analyses and use the resulting data to recommend requirements for subsequent new product offerings and additional enhancements.

The Specifics

  • Competitive Landscape Mapping: Conduct deep-dive audits of competitor product features, pricing models, and user experience to identify market gaps.
  • Trend Analysis: Monitor and report on emerging industry shifts and consumer behaviors to ensure product roadmaps remain relevant.
  • Data-Driven Recommendations: Synthesize research findings into actionable "Product Requirement Documents" (PRDs) for upcoming features or enhancements.
  • Stakeholder Presentation: Create visual reports and presentations to communicate competitive threats and opportunities to the Product and Engineering teams.

Who You Are?

  • Academic Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Analytical Skillset: Proven ability to collect, organize, and interpret sets of qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Strategic Thinking: A knack for connecting "what" is happening in the market to the "so what" for the specific product.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal skills, with the ability to translate complex data into simple, persuasive narratives.
  • Technical Proficiency: Presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint, Google Slides).

Compensation: The expected hourly rate for this internship is $25/hour.

**At this time, relocation and housing stipends are not offered for this internship.**
