Who we are

Magellan AI is the all-in-one platform for audio advertising intelligence, media planning, and measurement. We help advertisers, agencies, and publishers understand podcast advertising activity, discover new opportunities, and measure performance across podcasts (audio + video), streaming audio, and broadcast radio.

Our product processes large datasets of advertising activity and turns them into insights used by sophisticated buyers and sellers across the digital audio market.

We’re looking for a Product Manager to help drive the evolution of our platform. You’ll define new features, prioritize product improvements, and work closely with engineering and customer-facing teams to deliver tools our clients rely on every day.

Why this role is exciting
  • High ownership: Own meaningful parts of the product roadmap and help shape what we build next.
  • Visible impact: The features you ship will directly affect how advertisers, agencies, and publishers make decisions about millions of dollars in ad spend.
  • Small team, big influence: Work directly with leadership, engineering, and customer-facing teams to turn real customer needs into product improvements.
  • End-to-end ownership: Identify opportunities, define features, ship them, and improve based on feedback.
What you’ll do
  • Prioritize initiatives across new features, client needs, and system reliability
  • Identify patterns in support tickets and product usage to surface high-impact improvements
  • Capture feedback from Sales and Customer Success and translate them into roadmap priorities
  • Manage the product backlog and planning boards so engineering time stays focused on the highest-impact work
  • Write clear product specifications, epics, and tickets for new features
  • Define acceptance criteria and surface key product decisions so developers can execute efficiently
  • Work with engineering to break down larger initiatives into MVP releases and iterative improvements
  • Coordinate feature launches with Customer Success and Marketing, including documentation and client communication
  • Lead QA for new features and bug fixes to ensure releases work as intended and avoid unintended downstream impacts
  • Improve and organize help documentation and product education resources
What we’re looking for
  • Experience managing and shipping software products in a SaaS environment
  • Ability to translate client feedback and internal insights into clear product requirements
  • Experience writing product specs, tickets, and acceptance criteria
  • Strong collaboration skills working with engineering, customer success, and marketing teams
  • Ability to prioritize across feature development, bug fixes, and reliability improvements
  • Comfort working with data-driven products or analytics platforms
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Benefits

Magellan AI offers a comprehensive benefits package including:

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Flexible PTO policy
  • Paid parental leave
  • Remote-first work environment
  • Opportunities to work closely with a small, experienced team building a fast-growing product

Magellan AI is an equal opportunity employer; in keeping with our beliefs and goals, no employee or applicant will face discrimination or harassment based on gender, sexual orientation, race, color, ancestry, national origin, religion, age, marital domestic partner status, physical ability, gender identity, disability status, or veteran status. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)

  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
