Job Summary:
As a Product Manager at equivant Court, you will lead the development and evolution of innovative court case management solutions that empower justice agencies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product vision, gather and prioritize customer requirements, and drive the execution of product roadmaps. Your role is critical in ensuring that our software solutions meet the operational needs of courts and justice professionals, while aligning with strategic business goals.Job Description:
Product Managers at equivant are expected to own the product lifecycle from concept to launch and beyond. This includes:
- Gathering customer and market insights
- Defining value propositions
- Managing performance analytics
- Building and maintaining stakeholder relationships
- AI-centric
- Prioritizing features, backlog, and technical debt (e.g., 70% new features, 15% backlog, 10% tech debt, 5% unplanned work)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and/or 5+ years of relevant experience in product development.
- Successfully executed a new product launch.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent collaboration and verbal/written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, outlook, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Experience creating a proven product strategy.
- Experience creating product documentation for customer consumption.
- Public speaking and presenting are a must.
- Experience with AI tools and AI knowledge in terms of Product Management
Preferences
- Capability of working on large-scale software projects and/or multiple product lines simultaneously.
- Experience working in the Court, in the Legal industry, or with Court Case Management Systems.
- Familiarity with JIRA, Aha! or similar software development tracking software.
- Availability to travel to 25% [regular customer site visits and approved industry conferences].
