We are searching for an experienced software Senior Product Manager to join our growing Product Management team. The Senior Product Manager at Bridgeway defines and communicates the strategic vision of both current and new products and is responsible for day-to-day decisions regarding product development, market analysis, and pricing. A successful Senior Product Manager at Bridgeway has a solid understanding of enterprise software solutions, with a knack for building and maintaining positive business relationships with both internal and external customers and vendors. This role requires strategic thinking and hands-on contribution to drive product deliverables. 

This is a remote position with up to 20% travel. East coast candidates strongly preferred. 

 

Responsibilities:  

  • Align product strategy to corporate goals and customer needs 
  • Partner with Product Owners to build impactful roadmaps with clear objectives and long-term vision. 
  • Partner with Sales & Marketing, Professional Services, and Engineering to define, develop, market, sell and deliver the Product and the corresponding value proposition in alignment with the company's strategic direction.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Finance to refine and drive product pricing models.
  • Evaluate build vs. buy strategy and manage vendor relationships.
  • Identify product enhancements that balance a favorable return on investment with customer needs and ensure that products are profitable; define and hit revenue and margin targets.
  • Perform product analysis to measure how well products are doing in the market, to include win/loss analysis, profitability, planned revenue, customer satisfaction, and market share; take swift action to address product usage concerns.
  • Lead the decision-making process on product prioritization.
  • Establish Product Charters with key requirements and clear scope definition.
  • Coordinate and perform tasks as needed in support of a product development lifecycle. 
  • Partner with Product Owners and Engineering to communicate product requirements, determine viable development strategies, and to ensure successful development and product launch. 
  • Lead Voice of the Customer programs; select representative set of customers, decide on approach, execute sessions, and distill feedback into product decisions.
  • Author product marketing documents including Product Overviews, Product Highlights, and Product Release Bulletins; contribute content to monthly customer newsletter, blog postings and other product related updates to customer portal.
  • Support the Sales team efforts through presentations, demonstrations, RFP responses, prospect and customer visits, competitive write-ups, white papers, and event support.
  • Mentor and guide lesser experienced product resources.

 

Requirements 

  • 8+ years of product management and/or product development experience, preferably in a software development environment
  • Specific experience in Taft-Hartley, commercial benefits administration, or healthcare industries is highly desired
  • Experience performing actionable, data driven customer research and turning that research into customer experience and product improvements
  • Experience in developing product-focused marketing materials
  • Proven expertise in problem solving, decision making, time management and leadership in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Energetic, self-motivated, strong leader who can prioritize well and communicate clearly  
  • Strong interpersonal, persuasion, empathy, and facilitation skills with people of different levels, backgrounds, and personality styles
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Experience following an agile development lifecycle; experience with Scrum, Lean, Kanban, SAFe or other agile methods is strongly preferred
  • Bachelors in Business, Information Technology, Marketing, or related field
  • Pragmatic Marketing certification a strong plus
