Job Description:
MoCaFi seeks an experienced Product Manager to support our critical Federal payments program and manage mobile app features. This program serves millions of beneficiaries, ensuring the timely and secure delivery of essential government funds, often to underserved populations. The role involves navigating a complex ecosystem of federal agencies, financial institutions, and diverse user needs. The Product Manager is responsible for specific elements of the product roadmap as assigned by their manager.
This role reports to a Senior Product Manager. The position is hybrid in New York City; however, candidates can be based anywhere in the US. The salary range for this position is $90,000-140,000, depending on experience and location.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the product roadmap by developing a long-term product vision
- Define product requirements, create detailed product specifications, and communicate requirements to the development team
- Prioritize product enhancements based on customer feedback and business objectives
- Manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and post-launch optimization
- Lead sprint planning, grooming sessions, and retrospective activities for the payments program
- Own the program solutions end-to-end, including selling, onboarding, and post-boarding activities
- Contribute to the development of product strategy by conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and challenges
- Partner with the data team to analyze product performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization for clients
- Lead operations training on the product areas you own
- Develop a Go-to-Market plan and collaborate with marketing, project management, debit operations, and operations to align with the GTM strategy
- Collaborate closely with engineering and design teams to ensure successful product development and launch
- Partner with operations and PMO to develop process maps/flows
- Research and maintain a working knowledge of competitor products and trends
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver end-to-end product solutions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business/any related field, or at least six years of relevant professional experience
- 4+ years of experience in product management, product design, product development, and managing the rollout of products in payments or consumer DDA products (e.g., payment processing, acquiring, issuing, payment technology provider, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience in mobile app product management, including familiarity with iOS and Android platforms, mobile design principles, and app store submission processes
- Advanced knowledge of Agile methodology
- Skilled in supporting QA initiatives
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Jira, Confluence, and Google Suite
- Excellent communication (written, verbal, and presentation) and interpersonal skills
- Pursuant to our contract with the FAA, this position requires that individuals working on Federal contracts be U.S. citizens or Lawful Permanent Residents
