At Netflix, our mission is to entertain the world. Together, we are writing the next episode - pushing the boundaries of storytelling, global fandom and making the unimaginable a reality. We are a dream team obsessed with the uncomfortable excitement of discovering what happens when you merge creativity, intuition and cutting-edge technology. Come be a part of what’s next.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Product Manager to join our Talent Technology team. This role owns and co-owns product strategy and execution across a mix of first-party (custom-built) and third-party (vendor) Talent (aka HR) applications — spanning areas like compensation, workforce data, and core employee lifecycle workflows.

You’ll partner closely with engineering, design, data science, and stakeholders across Talent and business functions to deliver seamless, scalable experiences that support the full employee lifecycle: from candidate experience to employee growth and retention.

You'll need breadth: comfort moving between a vendor-managed platform one week and a homegrown workforce data tool the next, without losing sight of how the underlying data connects across systems. You don't need to write the queries yourself, but you do need to deeply understand how Talent data flows today — and how that needs to evolve as we build toward more automated, AI-driven talent products.

This is a high-impact, generalist role for someone who's energized by variety and complexity, and who can serve as connective tissue across a growing and increasingly interdependent talent tech ecosystem.

About You:

  • Curious and creative, and have experience applying product management frameworks to create enterprise or consumer products.

  • Highly adaptable and when faced with challenges, you become more creative, not less.

  • Biased toward execution and can lead the team to bring projects from concept to completion, doing everything possible to ensure a successful launch.

  • Data-driven with a knack for using data to identify business opportunities, have a can-do attitude, are confident, and a skilled communicator who welcomes honest and candid feedback.

  • Comfortable working with engineers, customers, and executives and know how to articulate your communication to each audience effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Own or co-own the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for a portfolio of talent systems, balancing priorities across systems with very different rhythms — a vendor-managed platform on one end, homegrown tools on the other.

  • Deeply understand the needs of Talent stakeholders, people leaders, and employees through research, data analysis, and close partnership.

  • Build and maintain a deep, working understanding of how Talent data flows across our systems today, and translate that understanding into product and data decisions that support a more automated, AI-driven talent ecosystem.

  • Translate complex business problems and talent strategies into intuitive, user-focused product experiences.

  • Prioritize competing demands across a broad, sometimes-overlapping portfolio of systems and stakeholders, using a clear, strategic framework.

  • Partner closely with engineering, design, and — where relevant — third-party vendor teams to deliver high-quality product experiences and solutions on time and at scale.

  • Monitor product performance, adoption, and satisfaction using data and use these insights to continuously improve.

  • Stay current on market trends in HR tech and bring new thinking into our product approach.

  • Lead product discussions with senior engineering and business leaders, influencing strategic direction.

  • Have a deep understanding and empathy for customer needs, using user research and creative feedback mechanisms to validate product hypotheses and optimal product solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree.

  • 6+ years of product management experience with a strong track record in enterprise applications or HR/Talent technology; experience spanning multiple systems or product lines, rather than deep ownership of a single product, is a strong plus.

  • Brings a deep appreciation for the complexity and nuance of the talent domain, including the systems and processes that support employee lifecycle events. Strong knowledge of HRIS systems and HR/Talent data flows — how data moves across systems today, and how it needs to evolve to support AI-driven talent products.

  • Comfortable operating across a portfolio of first-party and third-party applications at once, including vendor-managed platforms.

  • Experience with GenAI and working with engineering teams

  • Comfortable collaborating with engineers and making tradeoffs based on technical considerations and business priorities

  • Ability to operate strategically, envisioning scalable solutions, while also diving deep with engineers into edge cases, technical tradeoffs, and implementation details.

  • Familiarity with the talent ecosystem: learning systems (LMS), employee engagement

  • Self-directed and comfortable operating in a decentralized, fast-paced environment

  • Empathy for internal users and ability to turn business needs into delightful product experiences.

  • Lead product requirements, technical development, product testing, launch, end-user training, and rollout.

  • Ability to drive and influence business decisions based on data and metrics.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
