Healthline, the leading source of health and wellness information, is seeking a Product Manager to transform our search content experience and global UX. In this role, you will own strategic initiatives focused on dramatically improving organic search performance, deepening user engagement, and evolving our site into a seamless user experience that supports users on their health journeys.

Where You'll Be

To prioritize togetherness, culture, and accountability, RVO Health is prioritizing hiring employees to work from our Charlotte, NC or Minneapolis, MN office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week. However, this role is also open remotely. 

What You’ll Do
  • Strategic Planning: 
    • Identify opportunities for evolving our site experience based on user behavior data, business strategy, competitive analysis, and emerging trends in the search landscape and health information space.
    • Partner with SEO, product marketing, editorial and lifecycle marketing teams to create product proposals for new site experiences (i.e. Article templates, Homepage, Site Nav), defining the scope, approach, and goals. 
    • Develop a prioritization framework and roadmap to increase organic traffic and site engagement
  • Product delivery:
    • Collaborate with product designers and developers to deliver on the roadmap, developing and documenting requirements and driving efficient product delivery.
    • Lead experimentation and testing to assess and improve search rankings and site engagement. 
    • Ensure products are mobile-first, accessible, and optimized for search engines.
    • Collaborate with SEO experts and engineering teams to implement technical SEO best practices, including site schema, architecture, and page speed optimizations
  • Data-Driven Decision Making:
    • Model and forecast expected product performance to inform prioritization.  
    • Analyze test results and overall product performance post-launch, in order to validate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
    • Monitor KPIs such as sessions, time on page, return visitor rate, and conversion rates, 
    • Define and monitor KPIs such as organic sessions, engagement metrics, conversion rates, and global site performance, utilizing SQL queries and/or analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Looker.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Ensure stakeholders know what's on the roadmap, understand prioritization, and are included in strategic planning and product discovery. 
    • Present product performance data, strategic objectives, roadmaps, test results and learnings to leadership and stakeholders on a regular bas

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience:
    • 1+ years of experience in product management, ideally focusing on user engagement, SEO, organic growth, and/or UX at a content-driven and/or user-centric company.
    • Proven track record of driving meaningful improvements in organic search performance and user experience.
  • Skills:
    • Experience with SEO testing, A/B testing, and conversion rate optimization.
    • ​​Deep understanding of SEO best practices, search algorithms, and technical optimization.
    • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), UX/UI principles.
    • Excellent communication and project management skills with a collaborative approach.
    • Passion for digital health and a user-first approach to product development
  • Knowledge:
    • Interest in the health and wellness industry is a plus.

Pursuant to various state Fair Pay Acts, below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company. The following benefits are provided by RVO Health, subject to eligibility requirements.

  • Starting Salary: $80,000 - $105,000
    *Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications and experience
