Role Summary

As a Product Manager at Regional Management, you’ll help drive the roadmap behind our digital originations and credit experiences—focusing on the analytics, logic, and decision frameworks that power them. You’ll work closely with credit, data, marketing and engineering teams to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and develop solutions that improve both customer outcomes and portfolio quality. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys digging into data, shaping policy through experimentation, and translating insights into scalable product improvements.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive the development of a scalable and profitable digital lending strategy in close partnership with credit, engineering, marketing, and operations teams

  • Define and execute roadmap initiatives that improve originations performance, customer experience, and business outcomes

  • Analyze performance across the digital funnel to identify opportunities, inform prioritization, and guide product decisions

  • Use SQL (and ideally Python) to explore data, validate assumptions, and track the impact of product changes

  • Collaborate with credit and engineering teams to refine decisioning logic and ensure accurate implementation

  • Champion customer experience improvements by identifying pain points, simplifying workflows, and delivering intuitive digital interactions

  • Translate insights and business goals into clear, actionable product requirements

  • Manage a product backlog aligned with strategic priorities and cross-functional input

  • Monitor post-launch results and continuously iterate to improve efficiency, risk performance, and user outcomes

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of product management or business analyst experience in a data-rich, tech-enabled environment

  • Strong proficiency in SQL; able to independently explore data, validate hypotheses, and measure impact

  • Ability to read and interpret code (Python preferred) to collaborate effectively with engineers and validate logic

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, computer science, economics, engineering); advanced degree preferred

  • Experience shipping features or products that involve complex decisioning logic, rules engines, or policy levers

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable working with ambiguity and large datasets

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams

  • Familiarity with consumer lending, credit decisioning, or financial services is a plus

  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of end-to-end product delivery

  • Strong attention to detail with a bias toward structured thinking, experimentation, and measurable outcomes

Compensation range: $94,000-140,000 annually

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
