Whether you're in a stadium, airplane, or remote military base, Ditto's peer-to-peer sync engine ensures devices stay connected and data stays consistent, even without internet. As a globally distributed, fast-growing startup, we’re committed to building a diverse and inclusive team that reflects the wide range of perspectives needed to solve the world’s hardest connectivity problems.

As the Senior Technical Product Manager for Networking, you will lead the networking and transport layer roadmap for Ditto's edge sync platform. Working alongside our engineering teams, you will define the "what" and "why" behind our networking capabilities while balancing technical tradeoffs with customer needs and business objectives. • Balance technical tradeoffs between performance, reliability, and complexity while working with engineering teams to evaluate implementation approaches
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with other Product Managers and Engineering Managers to ensure networking capabilities support broader platform goals
  • Engage with customers to understand networking challenges, participate in technical discussions, and translate needs into product requirements
  • Collaborate with technical specialists to translate business requirements into technical specifications that guide engineering implementation
  • Champion networking use cases internally and externally through documentation, demos, and technical content that showcases our capabilities
What you'll need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience with exposure to networking or distributed systems concepts
  • 2+ years of Product Management experience for technical products, ideally with some networking or infrastructure components
  • 3+ years working within the computer networking space in any capacity (engineering, sales engineering, technical consulting, etc.)
  • Technical fluency to collaborate effectively with networking engineers and engage in technical customer conversations
  • Strong analytical skills for evaluating tradeoffs between different technical approaches and their business implications
  • Customer-focused mindset with experience translating technical customer requirements into clear product priorities
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with engineering, sales, and customer success teams and presenting to both technical and business stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel once a quarter for company meetups and customer engagements
Nice to Haves:
  • Previous engineering experience in networking, distributed systems, or related technical fields
  • Experience with enterprise networking or network security solutions
  • Familiarity with mesh networking concepts or peer-to-peer systems
  • Background in IoT, mobile, or edge computing environments
  • Experience in technical product management or technical program management roles
  • Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, BLE, AWDL, QUIC, etc.)
  • Experience working in remote, globally distributed teams
  • Technical writing experience for documentation or specifications
