Purpose of Position:
The Product Manager for Monitoring Solutions owns the strategy, roadmap, and business results for these product lines. This role works closely with customers and internal teams to understand needs, improve the portfolio, launch new products, and support profitable growth.
Essential Functions:
- Manage the monitors and CEMS portfolio of solutions for building automation
- Work closely with engineering teams to solve issues and drive new product development
- Define and drive commercial strategy, including expanding field sales presence and setting overall marketing strategy.
- Partner across sales and marketing to ensure go-to-market strategy is aligned with product strategy, customer needs, and overall market trends.
- Customer Obsessed - Engage with customers to understand workflows, functional needs, buying journeys, and support needs.
- Pair customer insights with deep product understanding to set product strategy. Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI.
- Enable sales and orders growth targets by actively driving product lifecycle processes for products, including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch.
- Communicate product strategy to other functional areas such as engineering, sales, digital marketing and other key stake holders within the organization including executive management
- Understand how your products compare to competitors in order to assess competition in the market
- Support customer issue resolution and manage order status with operations where necessary
- Establish and maintain productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned distribution partners.

Education & Experience Required:
- BS Degree in related discpline is required
- 5+ years of relevant work experience, with at least 2 years of direct experience in product management, preferably within a relevant industry (building automation / sensing technologies)
- Strong foundation in commercial fundamentals, including go-to-market, sales enablement, pricing, positioning, strategy development and understanding customer need.
- Experience managing strategic partners preferred.
- Foundational knowledge of markets and products related to environmental sensing preferred
