Job Details
InvoiceCloud is seeking a customer-focused Product Manager to support and grow our insurance vertical. This role is responsible for deeply understanding insurance biller and payer needs, defining clear business requirements, and ensuring solutions reflect evolving market demands.
 
The Product Manager serves as a key product representative across Engineering, Integrations, Implementations, Customer Success, Sales, and Product Marketing. This role shapes roadmap priorities, supports customer launches, and drives alignment around product direction and measurable business outcomes across insurance payment workflows.

Ownership
  • Owns and prioritizes the Insurance product backlog, ensuring alignment with vertical strategy and customer needs.
  • Maintains and communicates the Insurance roadmap, clearly articulating prioritization rationale and expected outcomes.
  • Writes clear, actionable user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria that guide Engineering and UX delivery.
  • Ensures product documentation, requirements, and internal inputs reduce rework and support efficient execution.
 
Drives Efficiency
  • Partners closely with Engineering, UX, and cross-functional teams to streamline delivery and reduce cycle time.
  • Strengthens operational readiness by ensuring teams have clarity, assets, and context required to execute effectively.
  • Uses structured requirements, acceptance criteria, and workflow documentation to improve predictability and quality.
  • Supports customer launches by aligning product readiness with implementation, integration, and enablement needs.
 
Results Driven
  • Defines and tracks success metrics to evaluate feature impact, workflow improvements, and customer outcomes.
  • Monitors adoption, performance, and customer feedback to inform prioritization and roadmap adjustments.
  • Uses analytics and data to evaluate whether delivered solutions meet intended business and user goals.
  • Ensures product decisions translate into measurable improvements in insurance payment experiences.
 
Innovative
  • Serves as the Voice of the Customer by gathering insights through interviews, workflow reviews, research, and data analysis.
  • Uses experimentation, analytics, surveys, and usability studies to validate opportunities and iterate quickly.
  • Identifies insurance-specific workflow challenges and proposes differentiated solutions.
  • Leverages GenAI to accelerate user story creation, analyze customer feedback at scale, and surface actionable insights.
  • Monitors emerging trends in insurance, payments, and digital adoption to inform long-term product direction.
 
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in SaaS product management
  • 2+ years of experience in the insurance industry or supporting insurance-focused products
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Proven experience using analytics, instrumentation, and user research to guide product decisions
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and competitive research skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate strategic vision and execution detail
  • Demonstrated ownership mindset with strong attention to detail and commitment to product excellence
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, UX, Sales, Customer Success, and Product Marketing

Base salary is one component of total compensation. Employees may also be eligible for an annual bonus or commission. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. The above represents the expected base compensation range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we’ll consider many factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors. 

Base Compensation Range
$130,000$145,000 USD
