The Opportunity

Bring your expertise to a highly collaborative, creative, and innovative team with a market-leading technology product suite. We're seeking an experienced Product Manager to drive key initiatives across our General Partner (GP) product suite. You'll work alongside a broader PM team to partner closely with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to shape and execute our GP roadmap.

The Product Manager, GP Portfolio Monitoring will report to the Head of Product and sit across a diverse array of stakeholders, including: Engineering, Design, Client Services, and Business Development. You will work closely with clients and prospects to understand their business needs, identify technology solutions, determine priority, and articulate our product strategy via roadmap presentations and other external touchpoints. Strong communication skills, including a deep understanding of private equity terminology and a demonstrated ability to communicate with sophisticated private market investors, is a must.

Our ideal candidate has deep experience building portfolio monitoring solutions for private equity or private credit firms, with a proven track record delivering complex, workflow-heavy features that GPs rely on daily. You should have expert-level understanding of private market operations—data collection, GP-LP reporting, fund accounting, capital calls and distributions, and the terminology and workflows that define how GPs manage their portfolios. Above all, we are seeking candidates who have successfully shipped sophisticated fintech products in this domain and understand what excellence looks like from a user and technical perspective.

As the Product Manager of our GP Product, you will:

  • Drive key product decisions and contribute meaningfully to defining GP product strategy 
  • Develop and maintain a detailed product roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on business needs, technical feasibility and, resource availability
  • Work closely with a best-in-class Engineering team to deliver high-quality product features in a timely and efficient manner
  • Develop a deep understanding of client use cases, and define creative solutions to automate portfolio company data collection, streamline data extraction, and simplify investor reporting
  • Define, articulate, and manage business and technical requirements of new features
  • Plan and manage agile sprints, ensuring clear objectives, timely progress and coordinating cross-functional delivery
  • Build excitement in the market for our product vision via regular client engagement and roadmap presentations
  • Embrace and make use of cutting edge product philosophies and tools, including LLMs and prototyping platforms

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • Deep operational fluency in private markets - you can engage with various user personas from the front to back office, and understand how operational needs vary across fund strategies, sizes, and geographies
  • Five (5) or more years of experience building portfolio monitoring products for PE or Credit GPs, with a track record of shipping complex features from concept to production
  • Strong technical collaboration skills, with an ability to translate business requirements into detailed specs and work effectively through technical tradeoffs with engineering teams
  • Exceptional communication skills across technical and business audiences, from executives to engineers to private market investors
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to shepherd features through completion, ensuring engineering, go-to-market, and client success teams have what they need at each stage
  • Proven ability to synthesize competing priorities and balance client needs, market trends, and technical constraints
  • Collaborative, solutions-oriented approach with creativity and a bias toward action

Nice to haves:

  • Technical aptitude, including previous experience writing technical documents or coding
  • Prior experience as a buyside professional in the Private Equity or Private Credit space
