About the job

As a Product Manager on the Fintech team, you will be responsible to identify the customer need and the larger business objectives that a product or feature will fulfill. You will articulate what success looks like for a product and rallies a team to turn that vision into a reality. You will set the goals, define success, help motivate teams, and are responsible for the outcome of the product.

Fintech team is dedicated to building a better end to end payments capability that will support the current flex card program, filter spend, simplify merchant integrations as the point of sale but also for web and mobile marketplaces.  The capabilities of the payment capabilities should then be able to extend various other medical claims processes now and in the future.  You will work with developers on open-source project and technologies that will allow us to be build platforms at scale as well as benefit from the latest innovations in speed, simplicity and security.

Responsibilities

  • Bring your expertise to help us deliver a best-in-class consumer lending platform for our customers.
  • Embed yourself with one of our products teams to become a subject matter expert in our customers and value proposition.
  • Own and execute on a range of initiatives that will help us continue our rapid growth in 2023 and beyond.
  • Connect with our customers or stakeholders to identify their problems and build a great solution to solve them.
  • Understand the business logic of the project to then transcript the requirements to Technical User Stories.
  • Partner with engineering, design, and QA to deliver solutions that enable the business to hit our goals.
  • Creating KPIs to show the status of the product.
  • Work cross functionally to ensure our product plan prioritizes initiatives that have the greatest impact.
  • Leverage quantitative and qualitative insights coupled with a deep understanding of customers behavior to drive incremental benefits to the business.  

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of product management experience; prior experience in fintech or consumer lending is a plus.
  • Strong Knowledge in Technologies (Development, QA, Infrastructure, Cloud)
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication with a diverse stakeholder audience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment across multiple locations and time.
  • Zones to drive consensus in cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with a highly regulated industry.
  • Fluency with agile methodology, product management tools, SQL, Excel, web analytics and AB.
  • Fluency with testing software and its processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a technical disciple (engineering, developer, architect dev, economics, finance, etc.)
  • A can-do attitude!
