The role involves managing product feedback follow-ups, data connector requirements, documentation updates, and cross-functional collaboration to improve the DX product.
Working at Atlassian
Atlassians can choose where they work - whether in an office, from home, or a combination of the two. That way, Atlassians have more control over supporting their family, personal goals, and other priorities. We can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.
About DX
DX is a developer experience and developer intelligence platform recently acquired by Atlassian. DX helps engineering organizations measure, understand, and improve developer productivity and satisfaction. It combines qualitative feedback and quantitative signals to give engineering leaders 360° visibility into their teams - surfacing bottlenecks, friction, and the impact of AI and tooling investments through dashboards and scorecards.
When customers ask "How do I know if my engineering teams are productive?" , "Where should I be putting my AI dollars?" , or "How do we measure the ROI of AI investments?" - DX has the answers.
DX is part of Atlassian's strategy to become the essential system of record for how software teams work. By bringing DX into the Atlassian portfolio, we are helping every engineering organization make data-informed decisions about developer productivity, tooling investments, and AI adoption - unlocking faster, more intentional, and higher-impact engineering outcomes.
Your Future Team
You'll join the DX team, partnering closely with a Principal Product Manager to help manage and grow the core DX product. DX has a broad surface area - spanning developer surveys, engineering metrics, data connectors and integrations, dashboards, and scorecards - and this role is designed to expand the team's capacity to move quickly across all of those verticals.
This isn't a traditional "you own X product" product management role. Instead, you'll work across the DX product, plugging into the areas that need the most attention - from writing requirements for data connectors to following up on product feedback, to keeping critical documentation up to date. You'll get broad exposure to the full product lifecycle while working alongside an experienced PM leader who will provide mentorship and context.
Responsibilities
On your first day, we'll expect you have:

Responsibilities
- Product feedback follow-up: After weekly triage of product feedback items, own the follow-up by gathering requirements, writing specs, and ensuring items are clearly defined and ready for engineering.
- Data connectors & integrations: Own requirements for DX's data connectors - the integrations with third-party tools that customers use alongside DX to surface engineering intelligence (e.g., CI/CD tools, source control, project management platforms).
- Documentation: Help keep product documentation up to date as the product evolves, ensuring customers and internal teams have clear, accurate references.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, and customer-facing teams to deliver product improvements and gather insights.
On your first day, we'll expect you have:
- 2-3 years of experience in product management (SaaS, B2B, or developer tools preferred).
- Demonstrated experience as a full-stack software engineer
- Must have experience working in a start-up - operating with a high degree of autonomy and a 'roll-up-your-sleeves' mentality to solve problems.
- Strong written communication skills - you can translate conversations, feedback, and research into clear requirements and documentation.
- Analytical mindset - you're comfortable working with data, dashboards, and customer feedback to inform decisions.
- Highly organized and self-directed - you can manage multiple workstreams, follow through on action items, and keep things moving without heavy direction.
- Collaborative and low-ego - you thrive in a supporting role, are comfortable partnering with a senior PM, and are motivated by making the team more effective.
- Customer-curious - you genuinely want to understand how engineering teams work and how DX can help them improve.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, distributed, and highly collaborative environment.
- Nice to have: Familiarity with integrations, APIs, or data connectors.
